POPSPortable pain weapon may end up in police hands Microwave radiation as crowd control measures? Surely this counts as unnecessary force? We have passed a dangerous mark in the sand here. The use such things in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are also rumours of larger ones that are able to melt flesh and even vehicles.

POPSThe Invisible Machine: Electromagnetic Warfare Fascinating and frightening Documentary by the History Channel, which explores the cutting edge and future of warfare as well as new crowd control technologies. It looks into Directed Energy Weapons,EMP, HAARP, Sonic Weapons and weather manipulation. Many of these technologies are already in use or are in live test scenarios. Including but not limited to, the use of microwave radiation for crowd control, jamming and disrupting communications (cell phones, radio, satellite). Law enforcement across the globe, are now starting to apply some these Technologies, many of which are not covered by any sort of convention, to civilian theatres. Sonic military weapon purchased by San Diego police department! For Crowd Control!

POPSApartheid Much 83. Various witnesses and experts informed the Mission of a sharp increase in the use of force by the Israeli security forces against Palestinians in the West Bank from the commencement of the Israeli operations in Gaza (Chapter XIX). A number of protestors were killed by Israeli forces during Palestinian demonstrations, including in support of the Gaza population under attack, following the beginning of the operations, and scores were injured. The level of violence employed in the West Bank during the time of the operation in Gaza, was sustained also after the end of the operation.

POPSSonic military weapon purchased by San Diego police department! For Crowd Control! It is not the high frequency you need to worry about. there are certain low frequency sound waves that can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, disorientation, haemorrhaging and even death. Never mind the whole thing with resonant frequency, where all matter can be shattered, you only need find what frequency works on what. Such an experiment was carried out by Nikola Tesla using a matchbox sized battery operated device, with which he very nearly destroyed a building before leaving hurriedly. What do you think these given their size and power are capable of achieving? Expect these to be common place.

POPSRay Gun--Civilian Population Control Weapon? Non-military sales contracts to be announced soon. Watch for the UK government and Homeland Security, and law enforcement be the first to purchase this new weapon. It seems to suit applications in controlling angry crowds or protestors or times of martial law. Interesting that the first sales will be non-military and commercial, isn't it? The article shows presentations for "pirate control', and the like, but these seem much more far-fetched applications for which it would be less than suitable.

POPSThe Invisible Machine - Electromagnetic Warfare This was really interesting, though scary. Microwave weapons for crowd control, etc. Electromagnetic warfare is how wars will be fought in the future. Here's something related: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/04/abl_first_flight_blasts/

POPSAnd The Crowd Roared Why would anyone act this way for material things?? Are their lives so dismal that they have to fill them with nothing but consumerism? I don't even go out into town on Black Friday and haven't for years. I find it completely disgusting.

POPSWhat a real financial collapse looks like Here's what a full blown financial collapse looks like. This may explain why Bush has ordered an active unit of combat troops to be stationed inside the US to serve as an "'on call' federal response in times of emergency," specifically for use in case of "civil unrest" and for "crowd control." This is a first in American history. The unit chosen for this task is the Army's Third Infantry Division's First Brigade Combat Team which has spent thirty-five of the last sixty month in Iraq. They're here now and training for "domestic operations."

POPSArmy Orders Pain Ray Trucks Can anyone else see that law enforcement would love to have these on our streets? This could be a precursor to a vaporization weapon. In the meantime, scientist are working on a handheld short range weapon for law enforcement officials. Potential for abuse is expected to be very high. We have already seen the damage that ‘non lethal’ stun guns do in the hands of over-zealous police officers.

POPSMilitarizing the "Homeland" Current Army doctrine is heavily-weighted towards contingency planning for "civil disturbances." As with data mining, DHS spy-satellite surveillance, blanket CCTV coverage of American cities, illegal FBI deployment of infiltrators and provocateurs, "mission creep" by the Pentagon into civil affairs are signs that stronger measures to blunt the crisis may be in the offing. While NORTHCOM insists that JTF-CS, "will not be called upon to help with law enforcement, civil disturbance or crowd control, but will be used to support lead agencies involved in saving lives," as outlined above, citing the DoD's own documents and Executive Branch National Security Presidential Directives, contingency plans for suppressing "civil disturbance" such as the Garden Plot scenario are, like an iron fist inside a velvet glove, already in place and capable at a moment's notice of striking the American people.
