POPSAmerican Bacon A fan of bacon, creator of PocketBacon, made this work to celebrate the quintessential rebellious American food -- Bacon. "Bacon is sex in a skillet," Dan Philips of the Grateful Palate once said. "It's the ultimate aphrodisiac for all living things. Except pigs, of course."

POPSI cook with the Nu Wave Oven and I love it! I am so busy these days and the Nu Wave oven really helps me save some time. Chicken cooks so quickly and evenly in the Nu Wave Oven I can have dinner prepared in no time. This page has it in stock.

POPSVegan Sunny Corn Muffins
http://onitukamew.blogspot.com/index.html:I just used 1/4c of sugar instead of 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar and then I added 1/2c corn. They are really yummy. **many others said the original recipe is too sweet, so best to use less sugar like onitukamew* Nutrition based on onitukamew's changes: 57g serving size: 113cals, 1g fat, 0mg cholesterol, 107mg sodium, 23.9g carbs, 1.6g fiber, 5g sugar, 3g protein These were like twinkies or something, they were so good! I wasn't expecting them to be so good! these were delicious! little pieces of corn heaven. The best vegan cornbread muffins I've ever had! Reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup, added lime juice instead of vanilla extract, plus 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 Tbsp. sundried tomato paste, and sprinkled "hot & spicy salt" on top. They turned out great! Absolutely fantastic! Just made them tonight & already passed recipe on to a friend. I used maple syrup instead of sugar & vanilla soymilk

POPSVegan Low-Fat Double Chocolate Muffins
Public comments, reviews, suggestions: http://onitukamew.blogspot.com: I love this muffins this is so yummy. The top of the muffins are crispy as cookies and the inside of the muffins are so moist and light. Also the melted chocolates are super delicious. i halved the recipe, used fat-free silk, a tablespoon of walnut oil, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a few pinches of allspice, and about a half a cup of zucchini. i left out the chocolate chips, but i think i’ll add them next time. they came out really well. The whole wheat flour really adds a nice texture to them. I just made them and the whole family thought they were great! I used almond milk and regular balsamic vinegar. I also made them in mini muffin sizes so I can enjoy more! I was impressed, the chocolate chips were melting when I ate one. it was luscious. I made regular sized muffins and added cranberries and pecans. it’s great to use a mildly flavored vinegar, so any kind of white vinegar would do

POPSFogo De Chao Churrasacaria a Fogo De Chao is opening up in Minneapolis (in the old Copeland's Space in City Center)....my thought is that it could be either very good or a train wreck?!? Whenever "all you can eat" is involved you attract a certain element that can quickly turn a nice place into a trough for slopping pigs....however...If it is priced to provide appreciable quality rather than quality, it becomes more about sampling variety than seeing how much you can stuff in your gut to get the most bang for your buck. I love buffet concepts because it does allow you to sample SMALL portions to learn what you like, to try new things and simply to have what looks good & fits your mood. Has anyone been to one of these? Good, bad, mediocre? And What's the general price range for lunch...or dinner? Cocktails or just wine? I am excited to have something new that isn't an olive garden!
