POPSButtons Did you ever think about the buttons on your clothes? What would you do with them if you didn't need them for your clothes? An artist or crafter might think about how they could be used in a craft or a scrapbooking page. What ideas come to your mind?

POPSLinda M.Poole CPP Success I am so pleased to relay Linda's good news about her upcoming fabric line for Avlyn. She also gives me / Artquiltmaker.com some kudos, which I also appreciate.

POPSSling backpack for left or right shoulder! I carry a lot of stuff, what with being a mom, artist, and crafter. Always need snacks, paper towels, paper for notes and the kiddo to draw on, yarn, and who knows what-all! I like how sling bags fit, but finding one that can go on my left shoulder is hard! I've got a pinched nerve on my right side, so carrying too much weight gets to be very very bad. My hope is that this bag will be an improvement over my messenger bag (a hand-me-down from my sister), and also not kill me like my current right-shoulder only sling bag.

POPSCoffee Cup Sleeve Quilt What an interesting way to reuse coffee cup sleeves (the kind provided with hot beverages at retailers such as Starbucks, Beaners, The Coffee Bean, Caribou Coffee and the Coffee Beanary -- yes I've visited each one but Starbucks reigns supreme with me). And here I've just been recycling my coffee cup sleeves, or else attempting to reuse the same sleeve as often as possible. I admire this crafter's creativity and love the design and colors she selected for her quilt.
