POPSDana Milbank Is, as Mark Levin Describes Him, "A Punk, a Liar and a Coward"
Constitutional attorney, bestselling author and hit radio show host Mark Levin certainly doesn't mince words. Alerted to Milbank's latest hit piece in The Washington Post, Levin called Milbank out as a propagandist of the first order. The reason: out of literally tens of thousands of patriotic signs and shirts at Thursday's Capitol Hill protest, Milbank picked out a handful as supposedly representative of a crowd he described as "hateful and gruesome." An outraged Levin called Milbank a "punk, a liar and a coward" while challenging him to a debate on his show. Here's a Nazi reference that Milbank might appreciate: I think of him as the Josef Goebbels of his age. He writes patent propaganda in service of the State. And I can prove it. Bubba visited DC for the rally and wandered through the crowd for hours taking scores of photos. I created a montage -- click to zoom if you'd like read the dozens of visible messages -- from his collection.

POPSThe Victims of Fort Hood
According to an officer who served with him at Walter Reed Hospital, Hasan spoke approvingly of the shooting of Army recruiters this past summer by a Muslim convert in Little Rock, Arkansas. Authorities also investigated Hasan as long as six months ago for internet postings discussing suicide bombings and other attacks, though they have not yet determined definitively if he was the author of those posts. One of those posts was a blog entry that deified suicide bombers as being similar to soldiers who throw themselves on hand grenades in order to save the lives of their fellow soldiers. A cousin, Nader Hasan, builds a picture of the shooter as a bullied Muslim who was a good person who did not even like weapons, was conflicted about his military service, and was against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. But postings that are thought to be Major Hasan’s don’t match the portrait of a soldier who was conflicted. They present us with a picture of someone who housed beliefs that

POPSMore Fox News Lies I actually watched the episode in question and David did not urinate on the Jesus painting. The painting, which was placed adjacent to the toilet, received a splash of water/urine while David was urinating into the toilet. There is a vast difference between what was reported and what occurred. I included some comments by the "outraged" Christians who commented on this "story". Fox "News" accomplished their purpose by infuriating their gullible viewers. I feel piety for people like this who are being led around by the nose.

POPSAfghan insurgents pushed into base.... The press is having a holiday with this. This sort of thing happened a lot in Vietnam. What the press isn't saying is that likely HUNDREDS of enemy were killed trying to take over this base. This incident tells me: 1. What idiot chose such an indefensible location for a fire base??? 2. Thank you American press for telegraphing to the enemy our intent at withdrawing from the base, thereby emboldening the enemy and creating this opportunity to kill our soldiers. 3. Expect to see more of this as we withdraw having insuffient force to protect our troops - thank you Obama for helping spill our troops' blood due to your indecision. 4. Finally, recall all the times George Bush flew into Baghdad to visit our troops and generals. When will the coward Obama pay a visit to Afghanistan ??

POPSBut Mr. Cheney, Waterboarding is Torture Given that Cheney and others have confessed to authorizing waterboarding, we have very strong evidence that systematic torture was used in our name. Cheney doesn’t get to redefine our values. Waterboarding IS torture.

POPSWhat to expect if you ever call a pioneer of space exploration a coward Buzz Aldrin KO's a "we-never-went-to-the-moon" conspiracy wacko The moon doesn’t make people crazy. However, it sure does help point to crazy people. Take Whoopi Goldberg. Please. Take her far, far away. The former Captain Planet and the Planeteers star has questioned the moon landings. Really. Personally, I’d like to see Buzz Aldrin take a shot at her. Like he did this idiot:

POPSThe Courage to be Wrong Yes, conformity gains you a certain type of approval from others, but it comes at the cost of losing your sense of self. You have to systematically search out everything that’s a little bit “off” about you and bury it as deep as you can. You know that you can’t get rid of it — it’s a part of you, after all — but maybe you can hide it so deep that no one will ever see it, so that a world that only respects the “right” will never realize how “wrong” you really are. Maybe, just maybe, you can fool everyone until you’re in a position of power and no one’s opinion matters anymore. Then you can be free. Right? Umm… no.

POPSObama on Iran: Don’t Blame Me Even political leaders in Europe, specifically French President Nicolas Sarcozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have talked about the moral imperative of supporting the Iranian people. That the president of the United States is choosing to wash his hands is a profound disappointment.

POPSNeda Agha Soltan ~ The Face of Iranian Resistance The name "Neda" can be heard several times on the video clip, presumably by her father. It has been reported that he can be heard saying (in Farsi) "Neda, don't be afraid. Neda, don't be afraid. Neda, stay with me. Neda stay with me!" At 19:05 June 20th Place: Karegar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st. A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim’s chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes. The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gas used among them Please let the world know

POPSMythbusters: Victoria and the Lesbians continues: The myth apparently started in Wellington, New Zealand, in 1977, to explain why a demonstration for lesbian equality centred on a statue of Vicky. Labouchere’s true motives for criminalising male homosexuality are still disputed; what seems certain is that banning female homosexuality never crossed his mind. Some historians suggest that the male establishment avoided legislating on lesbianism, for fear of drawing women’s attention to its existence.

POPSCheap shots from Chickenwings (formerly Eaglewings) Poor Chickenwings; he can't spread his lies when people keep exposing his hypocrisy. He takes the route of the coward and blocks people who disagree with him. I label him a first-class wimp, along with Wilhelm the Chickenhearted. As for our fundamental differences, we disagree on Faith. But of course, a wimp like you can only take cheap shots at me after disabling my ability to respond to your charges. You do know that Clipmarks specifically states that you are not to use the post disabler to censor people, and if reported for doing so, you can get your account suspended. Unlike cowards like Chickenwings and Wilhelm the Chickenhearted, I don't block anyone because my facts and opinions stand up to scrutiny. I'm not scared of what other people might post on my clips!

POPSNewt Gingrich Thinks Americans Should Be Afraid....Booga Booga!
Maybe someone ought to mention to Cheney and Gingrich that their fear for the safety of their children and grandchildren is misplaced. They are far more likely to die of heart disease (something with which I think both men have some experience) than of a terrorist attack. Maybe living in mortal fear of Big Macs and french fries is a slightly more logical neurosis. REP. GINGRICH: Let me just say, I think people should be afraid. I think the lesson of 1993, the first time they bombed the World Trade Center, was fear is probably appropriate. I think the lesson of Khobar Towers, where American servicemen were killed in Saudi Arabia, was fear is probably appropriate. I think the lesson of the two embassy bombings in east Africa was fear is probably appropriate. I think the lesson of the Cole being bombed in Yemen was fear is probably appropriate. I'll tell you, if you aren't a little bit afraid after 9/11 and 3,100 Americans killed inside the United States by an effort, if you weren'

POPSCheney's Lies: Let me Count the Ways
— Cheney said that President Barack Obama's decision to release the four top-secret Bush administration memos on the interrogation techniques was "flatly contrary" to U.S. national security, and would help al Qaida train terrorists in how to resist U.S. interrogations. However, Blair, who oversees all 16 U.S. intelligence agencies, said in his statement that he recommended the release of the memos, "strongly supported" Obama's decision to prohibit using the controversial methods and that "we do not need these techniques to keep America safe." — Cheney said that the Bush administration "moved decisively against the terrorists in their hideouts and their sanctuaries, and committed to using every asset to take down their networks." The former vice president didn't point out that Osama bin Laden and his chief lieutenant, Ayman al Zawahri , remain at large nearly eight years after 9-11 and that the Bush administration began diverting U.S. forces, intelligence assets, time and mone

POPSCheney's MAD Front the article: "By raising the stakes over the torture issue with his repeated appearances, Dick Cheney isn't merely daring Democratic Congress and the Obama administration to investigate him and other members of the Bush torture team. Cheney's is a scorched earth game he believes he can win. Cheney's MAD strategy goes something like this. If the DOJ or Congress proceeds with torture probes or prosecutions, Republican retaliation will be massive and total. Nominees will be blocked, legislation filibustered and the gridlock in Washington permanent. The blame for the carnage, the theory goes, will go to the side (in this case, Democrats) which launched the first strike. As Ronald Reagan was fond of saying, "a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought."
