POPSHTC Hero 3G Android HTC Sense is very very good, there is very little lag, the graphics are smoothe and choices wide and varied. You might think (for example) that 12 different clock types would be enough for anyone, but I would love them to come out with more as I am a little fussy that way! Pity that the music player does not immediately grab cover art, but there are programs on the android market that wil

POPSLockerbie cover-up: What is the White House trying to hide? “President Obama is committed to creating the most open and accessible administration in American history. To send questions, comments, concerns, or well-wishes to the President or his staff, please use the form below.” Go for it. Tell all your friends to send a message: Why won’t the most transparent administration ever release the Lockerbie letters?

POPSGeneral Westmorland's Ghost Asks for near 500,000 troops in Afghanistan
Maybe it is true that Americans are as blind as some in Think Tanks, the Military and some elements in the news media think. I hope not. But it could take 3,000-5,000 deaths of US Troops and no resolution to lack of leadership and sustained improvement in Afghanistan. In Iraq, they at least had some experience with actually having control over administering their nation. So, regardless of how well democracy turns out there, Iraq is unlikely to disintegrate. There has been an Afghanistan on the map for centuries but there has never really been any history or experience of sustained administrative control over the state. Control over Kabul and a few of the major cities yes but most of the people and land have only experience with tribal and war lord governance. Traditionally, they only unify to fight outsiders (the Russians and US/NATO/Britain of late), or cultural threats to traditional culture and power relationships (Westernization/Taliban). Declare victory after the electio

POPS"Court Declares Part of the Patriot Act 'Unconstitutional'" continues: Because of the ruling, the government will now be forced to justify individual gag orders before a court, instead of casually wielding the power of a blanket gag as the Bush administration has done since the blindingly fast passage of the Patriot Act in Oct. 2001.

POPSGlobal Write-a-thon for Amnesty International
Dear Friends, I was detained for more than six years by the U.S. government, primarily in the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay. In late 2001, I was a journalist with the news agency al-Jazeera, assigned to cover the war in Afghanistan. While on that assignment, I was detained at the border of Pakistan-Afghanistan, and transferred to U.S. custody. I found that I had entered into a nightmare that would claim six years of my life and place great hardship on my family. Fortunately, Amnesty International and other organizations called attention to my case and campaigned on my behalf. In December last year, my case was featured in Amnesty’s Global Write-a-thon. A few months later, I was released from Guantanamo in May 2008 without any charges. I received more than 20,000 letters from members and supporters of Amnesty International. I received letters from all over the world. These letters really encouraged me during my very difficult time. They made me feel as though I was

POPSDudes rule in Palin crowds They do know she's not going to give everyone a six pack if she wins, don't they?? Oh, the hypocrisy! She's "the one", she's a giver of life and "who can't trust a mother?". Apparently you can only trust a "hot mother" who is semi-literate, right? Because they sure weren't giving Hillary any props for having a uterus and a brain.

POPSFBI Obstructs Justice: Uncovering the Anthrax Cover-Up Who benefited most from the anthrax letters, that targeted very specific people in Congress (Democrats Leahy and Daschle) and Media (including Tom Brokaw and Robert Stevens)? Was it Bruce Ivins--really? The FBI claims his motive was profit from a vaccine to cure anthrax, but we see no evidence that he ever produced it. We do find more credible motive elsewhere, and that the FBI wants to close this investigation, based upon his "suicide", is an attempt to put him on trial in his death, and in his absence! Never has there been a more flagrant public crime with more injustice in the investigation and "conclusion", nor more international and governmental actions as a consequence (i.e. wars and legislation), if this is it. The FBI is aiding and abetting a cover-up, which is obstruction of justice, which they were told to do from the beginning.

POPSChuck Schumer Causes $1.3 Billion Run On IndyMac: Bank Failure Results
In other words the bank failed in large part, not because of the admittedly poor loan underwriting policies they used, but because they lacked the liquidity to cover the sudden demand for cash cause by Mr. Schumer’s bank run. Yep, old Microphone Mouth has been at it again. It is very possible that IndyMac might have failed anyway, they were engaged in some very dumb practices like giving “Alt A” loans (loans in which the borrower is not required to provide proof of income), but there can be no doubt that the immediate failure of IndyMac was caused to a very large extent by the despicable actions of a publicity seeking, grandstanding, Liberal jerk, who, like all Liberal politicians, was far more interested in what he might gain politically from the bank’s failure than he was about what the failure might mean to the banks stockholders, employees, and customers. Senator Schumer’s actions were reckless and inexcusable given his position on the Senate Banking Committee.

POPSFeds Settle Lawsuit, $5.8 Million for Anthrax "Person of Interest" Huge cover-up in the anthrax case, and the media is to blame for not questioning the motives, story, of the government looking into this man publicly: The statement also blamed journalists for not questioning the motives of the government's statements or its tactics. Now look at the terms in which the government settled this out of court. Why not let it go to trial instead of paying up? The only motive could be to cover-up the truth of what happened and silence his legal allegations: "The United States does not admit to any violation of the Privacy Act and continues to deny all liability in connection with Dr. Hatfill's claims," So the Feds pay the man $5.8 million for nothing? It was not "Islamo Fascists" who wrote "Allah is great" on the anthrax letters...it was a false flag directed at Leahy and Daschle in Congress! See the 9/11 Anthrax Frame Up
