Increase calcium to lose weight!
digits
by digits  7-21-2008    1
When I ate cottage cheese for breakfast - trying to up my protein level consumption - I inadvertently lost weight. Now I know why! PS> Apparently Richard Nixon would eat cottage cheese when HE needed to lose weight my friend shares with me in the comment section! I guess it all makes sense now.

4 tips for a longer life
Rashid Malik
by Rashid Malik  11-23-2007    18
The man is quite restless, but the doctor continues, "Do you have sex?" "Yeah, once a week or so..., only with my wife!" he adds hurriedly. "As soon as you get out of here you are going to buy twin beds. No more sex for you. None." The man is appalled. "Doc...Are you sure I'm going to live longer this way?" "I have no idea, but whatever you live, I assure you it is going to seem like an eternity!"

Tony Genticore: "Eeewww! Cottage Cheese?"
abandonedbywolves
by abandonedbywolves  11-4-2007
This is an awesome recipe I stole from my friend Mike Roussell that includes cottage cheese. This is a perfect mid-AM/PM snack that’s high in fiber, protein, and “healthy” fats. 1/2 cup canned Pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix….PLAIN pumpkin) 1/2 cup cottage cheese (for those who don’t like the lumpy texture, you can use a hand mixer to puree the cottage cheese) 1/2-1 scoop of Vanilla Metabolic Drive protein powder 1 oz (handful) of crushed walnuts 2-4 shakes of ground cinnamon Stir up in a bowl and enjoy. You’ll swear you’re eating pumpkin pie.
