Cop Pulls Gun During Snowball Fight ... Could it Have Been 'Roid Rage'?
foxyarse
by foxyarse  12-23-2009    4
From Boston to Arizona, police departments are investigating a growing number of incidents involving uniformed police officers using steroids. So-called "juicing" has been anecdotally associated with several brutality cases, including the 1997 sodomizing of Haitian immigrant Abner Louima in New York City. Anabolic steroids are synthesized male sex hormones that promote muscle mass. When prescribed legally, medical steroids are used to treat growth problems in children, anemia and chronic infections like HIV. A common side effect of steroid use is violent, aggressive behavior that can contribute to poor judgment and even police brutality, according to medical experts. Gene Sanders, a Spokane, Wash., police psychologist, estimates that up to 25 percent of all police officers in urban settings with gangs and high crime use steroids — many of them defensively.

Justice arrives: Three cops among five indicted for obstructing federal hate-crime investigation i
ratilfar
by ratilfar  12-15-2009
The Ramirez case was a classic example of why we needed to pass a federal bias-crime law -- especially considering the outrageous circumstances in which the local jury slapped the young thugs on the wrist: his was a pretty clear-cut case of jury nullification: the weight of evidence against the accused was so powerful that it's clear the all-white jury -- like similar juries in the South during the Civil Rights struggle -- was not going to convict two young white men of murdering a Mexican. Even if, as Friedman says, "the only reason he is dead is because he was Mexican." As they poured out of courthouse, the teens' supporters shouted "I was right from the start" and "I'm glad the jury listened" at cameras that caught the late-night verdict.

Missouri farmers arrested for selling milk

The above description is a dramatization of real events that happened recently in Springfield, Missouri, where the state has decided to spend considerable taxpayer resources running a sting operating against a family that was caught dealing -- gulp! -- raw milk in a parking lot. Yeah... because that plastic-wrapped, industrial-factory-produced food that shows up on the supermarket shelves is SOOO much better.

Radar detector ratings: Cheap Radar Detectors - Avoid Speeding Tickets
garnetanne
by garnetanne  12-6-2009
If you add-up all the speeding tickets you get on a yearly basis, you will discover that you through away hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on tickets you can avoid. Investing in a radar detector is a great solution to avoid getting pulled over by cops. Advantages of buying a radar detector: 1) Stop speeding tickets: Generally speaking, the cost of a good radar detector will be around 300 dollars. Given that speeding tickets cost around $150 (not taking into consideration the cost of going to court to fight the tickets), your radar detector will pay for itself within a year if not less. 2) Lower car insurance premium: The main problem of having un-cleared tickets on your record is that insurance companies will raise your premiums. 3) It is Legal: Many drivers think that radar detectors are not legal. In fact, detectors are legal in most states expect Virginia and Washington DC. With a radar detector, you won't need to worry about getting tickets for driving 5mph over the

Janet, her daughter Amanda, and her granddaughter Alexandra rescue and find homes for hundreds of stray or abandoned cats simply for the joy and love they give and get from their feline family.

"As the pig is a despicable animal, Brenton was a despicable man who embraced the values of a despicable system. Certainly he was rewarded with a pig's fate. Can you smell that stench in the air today? A pig's been slaughtered. It smells like something died." Speaking near the location where Brenton was gunned down and addressing more than fifty Seattle Black Foot Soldiers, Shafford condemned the life of officer Brenton, the Seattle Police department, mayor Greg Nickels and all the city's whites.

The Scandal of Hunger in America
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  11-28-2009    4
Tax dollars are wrongly spent on all level of government. For example, in Los Angeles, the lion share of the city budget is spent on the police department. State wide the amount of money spent on the prison system is astronomical. Instead of hiring more cops and incarcerating more people, it would be a wise and durable investment to invest in good and free public education. Federally, the waste of our tax dollars and resources is just as absurd. President Obama will try to justify his escalation of the war in Afghanistan. By sending more troops to Afghanistan, the astronomical defense budget will keep going up and is likely to reach 700 billion in 2010. 1 billion people suffer from chronic hunger. It is Thanksgiving, and while the executives of Goldman Sachs, which are getting ready to pay themselves 21 billion in bonuses, have too much to be thankful for, the 49 million Americans going hungry every day should be resentful of a system that has let them down.

This past weekend however, Talleywhacker may have taken his act too far, when he performed on the hood of his car after hours, and offered up the Full Monty for his fans. The show could only be described as "lewd twisted erotica" added Adimo. "The guy is really sick, and all of us just love to watch him." Later however, when two carloads of drunken partiers crashed the parking lot party, Police were called in on account of a small riot. "All hell broke loose, said Smorecum, an admitted hermaphrodite. "And what made this particularly funny, was that I was disguised as a nun that night, and I almost got arrested for beating one of the punks over the head with my big wooden crucifix! When the cops showed up, I split." In the end, Talleywhacker was the only one arrested, and appeared before the judge full clothed on Monday morning. He was released on bail. He is charged with public drunkenness, indecent exposure, and inciting a riot. "They probably just want to stick me on the

How to Uninstall Trust Cop

There seem to be an increasing number of rogue antivirus programs. Joining their ranks is the fiendish TrustCop. You are going to need to remove TrustCop immediately! Its name besmirches the real cops who deserve our trust. TrustCop should be anything but trusted. It is installed via Trojans that find their way into your computer system. These Trojans then download the malware components without your consent, install it and configure it to load and run at startup.

I heard my albino daughter being hacked to death for her legs
clip-on-tie
by clip-on-tie  11-22-2009    3
"Convictions have been few and far between, but earlier this month campaigners celebrated four men being sentenced to death for the murder of 50-year-old albino, Lyaku Willy. ‘ A terrible noise was coming from the children's room. I saw my daughter's legs were gone. I realized she was dead and I couldn't stop crying. ’ It was the first time sick body part traders had been brought to justice. As authorities step up their fight against the racket, even family members have been discovered striking deals for body parts belonging to their own children. Shockingly, cops investigating Eunice's death earlier this year believe it falls into this category. Sobbing, Mary says: "My husband was arrested. He was charged with our daughter's murder and remains in custody to this day." Unsurprisingly, Mary's other albino daughters are severely traumatized by their sister's killing, and live in fear that they'll be next."
