POPSThe Man Behind the Obama-Hate Fest He prepared to run as a Democrat for Congress in Connecticut, where paperwork for one of his campaign committees listed as one purpose “to exterminate Jew power.” He ran as a Republican for the Florida State Senate and the United States Senate in Illinois. When running for president in 1999, he aired a television advertisement in New Hampshire that accused George W. Bush of using cocaine. A motion he filed in a 1983 bankruptcy case called the judge “a crooked, slimy Jew who has a history of lying and thieving common to members of his race.”

POPSHow Obama Became a Muslim? The short clip is a snippet from the Times illuminating story about Andy Martin, a disturbed individual notorious for filing unsubstantiated lawsuits to such an extent that a federal judge barred him from further filing without approval. Jerome Corsi, author of Obama Nation, opens his book with a quote from Mr. Martin. The story is a look at the slimy underside of Conservative attack politics. One, regrettably, that McCain and his attack dog Palin, have embraced recently.

POPSPalin vs Palin Sarah Palin isn’t in this election to change anything in Washington, she is in this race to win. This is nothing more than a contest to her. Her competitive spirit is dictating that she not back down (an unthinkable act contrary to her very nature) and do whatever it takes to win. The current state of the republican party has degenerated into an unethical, immoral, propaganda generating, smear machine designed more for character assassination than solidifying itself as a viable platform of positive change. John McCain, who I believe is a decent person, has made a grave error in judgment, perhaps blinded by the prize, but nonetheless, has done himself and his party (and therefore his country) a grave disservice. As a result of his choice the world now sees him as selling out his principles for his party. His only hope to win this election (and granted it would be an unprecedented and desperate attempt) is to replace Sarah Palin with, pretty much, anyone else.

POPSThe real terrorist... If Obama is "a terrorist" because he was on the board of a community project with Ayers (who committed crimes 40 years ago - when Obmama was 8)... How much more so is Palin who SPOKE at (and who's HUSBAND was a recent member of) the AK Secessionist Party? Read about their platform ... in their own words!

POPSSA unions blast attempt to split ANC "We believe that it would have been possible to resolve differences within the structures of the ANC if there was a genuine will to debate the issues in good faith," Sadtu said in a statement. "We suspect, however, that the decision to exit the ANC was taken long ago, and that the recent pronouncements of Comrade Lekota amount to a publicity stunt to drum up interest in the splinter grouping. "Sadtu leadership is confident that our 235 000 members will not be misled by the lies of the disgruntled elements represented by Lekota." "These elements have cut themselves off from the democratic traditions of the ANC," the union said.

POPSJohn McCain's Terrorist Ties Liddy also said he should have recommended shots to the groin instead of the head. If that wasn't enough to inflame any nut cases, he mentioned labeling targets "Bill" and "Hillary" when he practiced shooting. Given Liddy's record, it's hard to see why McCain would touch him with a 10-foot pole. On the contrary, he should be returning his donations and shunning his show. Yet the senator shows no qualms about associating with Liddy -- or celebrating his service to their common cause. How does McCain explain his howling hypocrisy on the subject? He doesn't. I made repeated inquiries to his campaign aides, which they refused to acknowledge, much less answer. On this topic, the pilot of the Straight Talk Express would rather stay parked in the garage. That's an odd policy for someone who is so forthright about his rival's responsibility. McCain thinks Obama should apologize for associating with a criminal extremist. To which Obama might reply: After you.

POPSMcCain Claims Obama Dishonorable & Dangerous This site has been put up by the Obama campaign: http://www.keatingeconomics.com/ This site, above, tells the truth and gives facts about the last banking scandal -- in which John McCain was involved. The guy at the center of the scandal went to jail. McCain got officially censored by the Senate. It's the Republicans who have PROVED themselves dishonorable and dangerous -- who led us into the black stupid hole of Iraq War -- who destroyed our economy. We can't let these warmongers and liars continue to rule our country. We need to Defeat Republicans! Now. Later start the war crime trials and trials for shredding the Constitution and deliberately leading a nation into war based on lies, torture against the Geneva convention, etc. These vampires and blood suckers will not die till we drive a firm stake into their hearts. Every word out of their mouths is false and dangerous. Vote Obama.

POPSSarah sad statement about 'Merika--Matt Taibbi Sarah Palin is a symbol of everything that is wrong with the modern United States. As a representative of our political system, she's a new low in reptilian villainy, the ultimate cynical masterwork of puppeteers like Karl Rove. But more than that, she is a horrifying symbol of how little we ask for in return for the total surrender of our political power. Not only is Sarah Palin a fraud, she's the tawdriest, most half-assed fraud imaginable, 20 floors below the lowest common denominator, a character too dumb even for daytime TV -and this country is going to eat her up, cheering her every step of the way. All because most Americans no longer have the energy to do anything but lie back and allow ourselves to be jacked off by the calculating thieves who run this grasping consumer paradise we call a nation.

POPSBiden allows Palin to look good The strategy was exactly right. In essense it was a strategy that said Palin doesn't matter. The voters have seen, and she will show, what kind of successor she will make. Attacking her is just hitting a tar baby. The real target was McCain and using Biden to attack him was masterful. They have, after all, known each other and been members together in the most exclusive club in the world for a long time. The strategy worked well because she didn't really score hits on Obama and McCain can't really attack Biden without looking petty. The best moment was when she slipped and said "John McCain must leave....lead..."

POPSThe Twelve Lies Of Sarah Palin the rest of the list: (go to site for the proof links) She has lied about pressure on Alaska's public safety commissioner to fire her ex-brother-in-law. She has lied about when she asked her daughters for their permission for her to run for vice-president She has lied about her alleged tolerance of homosexuality She has lied about the use or non-use of a TelePrompter at the St Paul convention She has lied about what Alaska's state scientists concluded about the health of the polar bear population in Alaska

POPS"World needs a vacation from USA" He called for immediate technology transfer from the West to the Third World, to allow development based on clean technology — stressing the need to “reject intellectual property rights”. funds should not be distributed through the World Bank, which was trying to regain legitimacy by portraying itself as a “climate bank” while continuing to push fossil-fuel-driven development. Confronting global poverty and climate change means confronting US power. “I don’t think the world needs US leadership”, he said. “They should be more humble.” Whether the US achieves its goals “is where we, as civil society come in”, Bello said, suggesting that, by making intervention costly for the US, civil society could encourage a “new US isolationism”. The struggle is, he stressed, global. “The world needs a vacation from the messaianism of the US … A few decades of a self-absorbed US would be very good for the world.”
