POPSWe Are Change UK - SOCPA Arrest Listen up World, If you don't use your rights you will lose them just as the UK has. "In October 2007, the Home Office published a public consultation document, Managing Protest Around Parliament , which 'takes another look at sections 132-138 (of SOCPA) and explores whether there is another way to address the situation that would both uphold the right to protest while also giving police the powers they need to keep the peace'. Campaigners are worried that this document contains new threats to freedom of assembly and the right to protest in that is suggests that there could be 'harmonisation of powers to manage marches and assemblies' throughout the UK. http://www.repeal-socpa.info/"

POPSPOLICE FORCE SUED BY OFFICERS WHO CLAIM THAT 'RADIOS' ARE MAKING THEM ILL "Lancashire was the first force to pilot the new Airwave technology and TETRA radios in 2001. At the time, the federation’s local branch reported 176 users had gone sick. The Health and Safety Executive was called in but declared there was no link. The Government spent £2.9billion introducing the system to the 53 forces in England, Scotland and Wales." What is not metioned in the report, but is highlighted within the comments, is that these radios cause cancer. Don't suffer in silence, speak out, as is your right.

POPSAl Qaeda Failed. What About Us? al Qaeda has tried three separate plots using the same basic technique -- get on a transatlantic flight and blow it up before it lands and before the terrorists are put through our border screening process. Every plot has failed. But if this doesn't remind you of the successive World Trade Center attacks, you're not paying attention. They've got a schtick, and they're going to keep using it until it works. 4. Unfortunately, TSA, the part of DHS that screens air travelers, doesn't use the bigger terrorist databases for screening -- unlike DHS's border officials at CBP. Partly that's because Congress forced DHS to leave traveler screening in the hands of the airlines for the phony privacy reasons described above. But it's also because airline screening, unlike border screening, is not well designed to vary the level of screening depending on the risk a traveler poses. In shorthand, it is trying to find dangerous stuff, not dangerous people .

POPSTop 10 Evil Doctors Doctors are said to be people that help those who are sick or in need of medical treatment. Most doctors are seen as benevolent towards society as a whole, but maybe not by those people who need to get their routine vaccinations. Though we hope our doctors are nothing less than helpful and trustworthy, throughout history, there have been extremely evil doctors who have ruined lives, and even killed some of their patients. Here is a list of ten doctors that surely aren’t ones to go to for your regular check-up.

POPSWhy Is The Catholic Church Firing Women? "In the last 30 years there’s been a dramatic expansion of the body of teachings to which Catholics must assent wholly to remain in good standing. As Horton pointed out, “They speak a great talk of justice for the world, but in their own church they don’t recognize it.”

POPSMoa Tse Tung & Obama Mt Rushmore Christmas Ornaments At White House ~ WTF! Oh, once again the Obama’s were unaware. Do these people pay attention to anything other than their own ego? Why let a holiday season come between the White House and making some political statements? The White House pegged controversial designer Simon Doonan to oversee the Christmas decorations for the White House. Mr. Doonan, who is creative director of Barney’s New York has often caused a stir with his design choices. Like his naughty yuletide window display of Margaret Thatcher as a dowdy dominatrix and Dan Quayle as a ventriloquist’s dummy. For this year’s White House, he didn’t disappoint. POPSPope visit to synagogue in doubt "While I respect the autonomy of the Church in matters of sainthood, I don't see how the pope could have taken such an untimely decision. Anything can happen now." Pius X11 who once stitched lederhosen for the Vienna Boys Choir said, "I am not anti-semitic, I just do not like Jews."

POPSSelling a low-carbon life just got harder "Everything to play for". Well, people need a bit of coherence in order to understand. For example, the consequences of a "healthy" economic recovery will certainly be another sharp increase in CO2 emissions. What should we do? That would be the start of some coherent, non-hypocritical policy making. Start by asking real open questions, and do not think you know the answers in advance. Then use some natural intelligence to look for other pertinent questions before entering into an open inquiry.
