Even though during his final months she told him several times daily, "I love you," Niemi said "I've spent two thirds of my life with him ... My regret is that I didn't tell him that I loved him enough over that entire 34 years." In the six weeks since the actor's death, Niemi said a close knit group of friends has helped her hold it together. "I have a few girlfriends that are just amazing. They have made themselves available to me 24/7. They say, 'We don't care if it's 2 in the morning, call me,'" said Niemi.

POPSUntil Medical Bills Do Us Part A complicating factor was that this was a second marriage. M.’s first husband had died, leaving an inheritance that he had intended for their children. She and her second husband had a prenuptial agreement, but that would not protect her assets from his medical expenses. The hospital told M. not to waste time in dissolving the marriage. For five years after any divorce, her assets could be seized — precisely because the government knows that people sometimes divorce husbands or wives to escape their medical bills. “How could I divorce him? I loved him,” she told me.

POPSACORN Video: Prostitution Scandal in Philadelphia, PA Part I
posing as a prostitute and her boyfriend, soliciting advice about a possible housing loan from workers in the Philadelphia office of ACORN Housing Corp. Previous videos showed the same pair, also posing as a prostitute and her boyfriend, visiting ACORN offices in other cities. The Philadelphia visit is significant because of a dispute over statements ACORN has made defending what took place when Giles and O'Keefe visited the Philadelphia office last summer. Supporters of O'Keefe and Giles said ACORN has lied about whether the two were thrown out of the Philadelphia office, how much time they spent there and whether they explicitly told ACORN workers that Giles was a prostitute. At a news conference, O'Keefe went through an edited version of what he said was a 32-minute visit to the Philadelphia office. "At no point were we kicked out, at no time were we asked to leave," O'Keefe said after playing the video. http://biggovernment.com/

POPSYes Men Pull Off Chamber Of Commerce Hoax On Climate Change It turns out, that an email press release was just one component of the hoax. In addition, the fake group managed to secure space at the prestigious National Press Club to host a "press conference" announcing its change in climate change position, according to the real Chamber. Several reporters were in attendance, I'm told, unaware that this was all a big joke. The event would have gone off without a hitch except for the fact that an actual Chamber spokesman was tipped off to the shenanigans and moved quickly to break it up. A reporter interested in covering what she thought was a real event inadvertently showed up at the Chamber's office on H Street instead of the press club. UPDATE: A source close to the infamous pranksters, The Yes Men, claims that the group was behind today's hoax and will be sending along a press release and video shortly. Stay tuned!

POPSUnited Nations of America to meet in Nov. 7th Huh? You say - smile. Well not entirely accurate, I guess but what else would you call a meeting between the President and all the recognized Native American Tribes (Nations) on November 7th. At the very least, it's a good step forward in making up for 230 years plus of broken promises between our national government and the daughters and sons of the first inhabitants of this land. Now that I think of it, we are all immigrants right?

POPSThe little guy at the NEA gets the boot... while the power structure continues to pursue propaganda union. Notice the same with ACORN. The powerful always toss the little guy out or blame "bad employees" for voter fraud while the systemic abuse and fraud is perpetuated from the top.

POPSEarn Big $$$ the NEA Way! It's true -- U.S. government demand for art and art-like products has never been higher! Uncle Sam and the good folks at the National Endowment for the Arts are on the lookout for go-getting, obedient artists like you for a fast-paced career in state propaganda. With the quick and easy Federal Art Instruction Institute course, now you too can get a first class ticket on the federal art gravy train! Tell Me More! From heath care to the economy to the environment, Washington has become infested with pesky state enemies who are clogging up the legislative pipeline and making life miserable for our cool, art-loving president. That's why he has ordered the NEA to fund obsequious bohemians to help him exterminate the competition and drive traffic to his hip new website Servile.gov. The Federal Art Instruction Institute will show you how to get off funemployment and on the payroll of this exciting $3.6 trillion growth industry!

POPSAt Least 6 Federal Laws & Regulations Violated By the NEA Conference Call And today the WH called the call "inappropriate". I guess that's what they now call illegal activities performed by the Administration and/or Congress. "Any failure by the Congress of the United States to initiate a full-scale investigation must be considered action designed to enable the misuse of taxpayer funds in violation of federal law." Indeed.

POPSWhite House Using NEA To Propagandize Obama's Initiatives It is time for us as a group of artists, producers, promoters, organizers, influencers, marketers, tastemakers, leaders or just plain, cool people to join together...and celebrate how the arts can be used for a positive change! I'm not sure whether the NEA has ever retracted its false claim that it didn't organize the call, but it announced that it was reassigning Sergant--to what, we don't know--and the affair seemingly came to an end, although Patrick Courrielche has continued to post new information at Big Hollywood. You've probably never heard of the White House Office of Public Engagement. It is the former Office of Public Liaison, renamed by the Obama administration. Its stated mission is: Serving as the front door to the White House, OPE will allow ordinary Americans to offer their stories and ideas regarding issues that concern them and share their views on important topics such as health care, energy and education.

POPSNEA Conference Call: All Roads Lead To Healthcare & ACORN Propaganda
When you are the NEA, United We Serve and The White House Office of Public Engagement " when you are required to represent the government in a non-partisan capacity, it can only be a partisan act to take part in a conference call set up by the White House and the NEA with the idea of bringing together pro-Obama supporters from the artistic community to push priority number one: health care. At the beginning of the call, Skolnik, the supposed independent moderator, admits he was asked by the White House and NEA to round everyone up and makes clear that one of the goals of the call is to “push the president and push the Administration.” In this environment, it doesn’t matter if the word “reform” is used after the words “health care,” or not. It doesn’t matter if the phrase “public option” is used or not. George Will put it best: “ he Obama administration is tightening the cinch on subsidized artists, conscripting them into the crusade to further politicize . . .

POPSRepublicans Call for Action to Address Man-Made Drought
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The House Natural Resources Committee held a full committee hearing today on the "The California Drought: Actions by Federal and State agencies to address impacts on lands, fisheries and water users. Republicans have offered numerous solutions to provide necessary relief to families, farmers and businesses in California's San Joaquin Valley who are struggling to survive in the midst of a man-made drought. Solutions include passing legislation (specifically H.R. 996 and H.R. 856) to suspend the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act during times of drought emergency to ensure that the Delta pumps operate at historic capacity, encouraging the Administration to take steps to allow for water transfers and temporary barriers to keep smelt away from the pumps, and offering new water storage as a longer-term proposal to help the State in alternating times of drought and floods. Congressman Devin Nunes (CA-21) warned, "This Congress . . .

POPSUpdate: Brooklyn DA “taking a look” into Brooklyn’s ACORN office. Update: Child-Whoring Pimp Assistance 7 identified; Dick Durbin (D-IL) Roland Burris (D-IL) Robert Casey (D-PA) Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) Patrick Leahy (D-VT) Bernie Sanders (I-VT) Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) The big question will be whether the House follows suit. Nancy Pelosi may not be inclined to let an amendment come to the floor, but James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles may not be done yet, either. A few more of these videos and even Pelosi will have little choice but to slam the door on ACORN. The big test will be whether the Johanns amendment survives a conference committee. This isn’t over yet. Update (AP): Man, this house of cards is toppling fast: Meanwhile, Jerry Schmetterer, director of public information for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, told FOXNews.com that officials will be “taking a look” into Brooklyn’s ACORN office. “We are going to be taking a look at the situation,” Schmetterer said Monday.
