POPSObama's health insurance is deadly fiasco I don't usually comment on US health care, BUT to be *forced* to pay private profit-making company for inadequate health coverage, with premiums increasing as I age, would make me very riled. And the policy won't do any good for the image of Obama, the Federales, or the health insurance industry. Where is Ralph Nader and a third Party when you need them? Couldn't he get together with Ron Paul -- the ultimate coalition. Howard Dean seems to understand what's going on, but he's an MD. If I were an American, then I would want to try something different. Anything! Why aren't people organising?

POPSGreen light for internet filter plans Most teens know about sites which will relay access to the banned sites. They use them at school to overcome the limitations placed by teachers. The firefox addon, "Web of Trust" should work for accidental visits by kids. Watching what the kids are using is difficult. Not many parents are not surprised by their children's antics at some stage. The govt thinks it has to be seen making an effort.

POPSJUST SAY : "I don't think so!" Therefore, there is in truth no such thing as a compulsory vaccination law in this country. They are ALL, in essence, voluntary. The problem is that practically no one in authority will let you know this fact.

POPSGet Ready for Detroit-Style Labor Relations in our Hospitals
The current House version of ObamaCare (H.R. 3200) goes much further. Section 225(A) grants Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius tremendous discretionary authority to regulate health-care workers "under the public health insurance option." Monopoly bargaining and compulsory union dues may quickly become a required standard resulting in potentially hundreds of thousands of doctors and nurses across the country being forced into unions. Ms. Sebelius will be taking her marching orders from the numerous union officials who are guaranteed seats on the various federal panels (such as the personal care panel mentioned above) charged with recommending health-care policies. Big Labor will play a central role in directing federal health-care policy affecting hundreds of thousands of doctors, surgeons and nurses. Consider Kaiser Permanente, the giant, managed-care organization that has since 1997 proudly touted its labor-management "partnership"

POPSCompulsarary Insurance Won't Work and they get caught again. More fines they can’t afford, just like the insurance they couldn’t afford in the first place, and then they go to jail for failing to pay the fines. Now the government gets to provide their room and board and when they get out of jail they no longer have a job. Before long, the state legislatures start cranking out new bills and regulations aimed at coercing more people to buy insurance, forcing the insurance companies to sell insurance to people they don’t want to sell to, increasing penalties for not having insurance, and setting up multi-million dollar systems to track who has insurance and who doesn’t. Finally, the state gets into the insurance business to sell insurance to people who the insurance companies won’t or can’t afford to insure — call it a public plan to compete against greedy private insurers. .

POPSVaccination History The more recent history of vaccinations isn't any better. Most people just do what they're told, without question. They trust the authorities. After all, they're the experts!

POPSDr.Eugene Narrett Just as promised by President “Obama,” there will be “compulsory social service” called “voluntary” in an Orwellianism Machiavelli would envy in “the Universal State” because “no private and local organizations,” initiatives or relationships can be left ‘outside the circle’ of observation, experimentation and intervention. “Committees of psychologists will argue with committees of moralists and committees of theologians until the citizen’s every last right will be licensed by half a score of governmental offices open daily from 9-5” except now we know they will be open “24/7” and be serviced solely by chains of pre-recorded messages, the voices often digital; subordination of the human for whom the utopia ostensibly is arranged is its point: “to serve man” as the “Twilight Zone” episode suggested wryly.

POPSCOERCIVE CARE: Real Concerns About the Health Care Bill, The Tyranny of Good Intentions
The health care bill is all about Federal control over every "free" American. Insurance would be mandatory and compulsory and the government gives you "options" through coercion, including the IRS leaning on you ("penalty") if you try to "opt out" and retain your basic human rights, i.e. private property (how you spend your own money), control of your body, and freedom of choice. Then your entire privacy is jeapordized as the Federal government becomes your legal guardian and Nanny, supervising, monitoring, and tracking (in real electronic time) every health procedure and examination of every minutia of your life. So much for "freedom" then. Moreover, information is power, and this personal information on you provides the government the means of coercing you into what Big Brother thinks is "in your best interest", i.e. really the interest of the Collectivist State. A Healthcare National ID card has been discussed. The principle is nothing other than Communism.

POPSThe Worldwide H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic. These statements serve to mislead public opinion. There is ample evidence, documented in numerous reports, that the WHO’s level 6 pandemic alert is based on fabricated evidence and a manipulation of the figures on mortality and morbidity resulting from the N1H1 swine flu. The Pandemic serves the interests of Big Pharma. The WHO is planning for the production of 4.9 billion dose, enough to inoculate a large share of the World’s population. Big Pharma including Baxter, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis and AstraZeneca have signed procurement contracts with some 50 governments. (Reuters, July 16, 2009). For these companies, compulsory vaccination is a highly lucrative undertaking: The Role of the Military According to CNN, the Pentagon is “to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials.”

POPSParliament again failing the Nation Is it not time that this discredited Parliament was put out of our misery and let the people speak. Make voting compulsory. Have an extra column which clearly indicates my/your wish not to vote for any of those participating. If and when that extra column becomes the majority opinion than all those who took part can be excused and another ballot takes place. That will be the first step towards real democracy. Secondly, kill this latest shameful act. Where is that lame cow Harriet Harman and all her promises that all accounts will be public and subject to receipts? There are millions of pensioners who will not subject themselves to means testing and live in poverty. For politicians to rub their noses in their enrichment and their abuse of privilege is enough to incite rebellion. Please. Do not vote for any of the main parties because they – the powerful and the glorious – are unfit.

POPSIndia to issue all 1.2 billion citizens with biometric ID cards
Keeping tabs around the world • Compulsory national identity cards are used in about 100 countries including Germany, France, Belgium, Greece, Luxembourg, Portugal and Spain • ID cards are not used in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the Irish Republic or Nordic countries • German police can detain people who are not carrying their ID card for up to 24 hours • The Bush Administration resisted calls for an identity card in the US after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 • In Australia street protests in the 1980s forced the Government to abandon its plans for a card • Plastic cards are favoured over paper documents because they are harder to forge • Most identity cards contain the name, sex, date of birth and a unique number for the holder • South Korean, Brazilian, Italian and Malaysian ID cards contain fingerprints. Cards in some countries contain information on any distinguishing marks of the holder • Objections t

POPSOprompter's New Science Czar
This kook actually thinks putting sterilizers in the water supply would be a good thing On mass involuntary sterilization: Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock. We wouldn't want livestock to be affected while we're snuffing out the human race. What would PET

POPSJohn Holdren, Obama's Science Czar, says: Forced abortions and mass sterilization needed to save the planet
These disgusting Progressives sound alot like the ones in the 20s and 30s. Why not? Quotes: "A program of sterilizing women after their second or third child, despite the relatively greater difficulty of the operation than vasectomy, might be easier to implement than trying to sterilize men." "Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society." "One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption"especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for sin
