POPSOn Circumcision From the biologists point of view, the quantity of useful, unbiased information about the practice could easily fit onto the head of a pin. So arguing benefits and detriments are mostly a waste of breath.

POPSWhy is Gay Marriage a Civil RIghts Issue? This is why refusing communion is not a violation of civil rights - because communion is not a civil contract, it does not confer civil rights or responsibilities, and is therefore not a matter of civil law. I will say it yet again. Your laws that say same-sex couples can't get married are the same laws that say they can't eat shrimp or cut their beards. Which is fine and well for you, but I'm going to continue to enjoy my crab louie salad bare-faced without even humoring the idea that I need to protect, defend, and preserve your "sanctity of brunch". It's about civil rights, plain and simple. All your arguments about "Tradition" and such are nothing more than religious bigotry in flowery dressing. Be a bigot if your god calls you to be. But we will fight you when you try to make your bigotry law. And we will win.

POPSUgandan Bill Would Outlaw Female Mutilation Medical doctors say FGM is a leading cause of maternal health complications like child mortality rate and deaths during pregnancies because the parts of the cervix will have been endangered during the mutilation. POPSDenmark to Ban Mutilation of Male Child Penis The usual whining victimhood cry anti-Semitism as if this intended ban was directed towards them alone. They conveniently forget that Muslims also practice this barbarity and there are far more Muslims in the EU. Even when they are not victims, they refuse to share their perception of victimhood with others. Interference with children's bodies in ANY circumstance must be banned in all cases. Sexual interference with children's bodies is just one small step onwards as is easily proven by the many REAL victims of these religious maniacs.

POPSEurope's Weird Ways There are a few more fun things to be done in Europe, at the source. There's tons to do! Here in DK we have something called Sankt Hans Aften where we all head to the beach and build huge bonfires and burn funny effigies of witches on them and then we eat way too much and get way too drunk. It's a lot of fun. .:D Here's the posh song mentioned in the link, we try to sing (a tradition), but we're usually too drunk and it ends up a total travesty. We are just SO cultured here. *Enjoy* .:D "We Love Our Country"

POPSTwo doctors in Saudi Arabia want to change cultural attitudes to female genital mutilation In Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and Mali, for example, more than 80% of women have undergone FGM. Typically, the procedure is carried out by a Daya (an elderly female birth attendant) when a baby girl is a few days old, but it can be done at any time during childhood, adolescence, before marriage or during a first pregnancy. The scope of the operation – which is often carried out in non-sterile conditions using household implements – can vary considerably from removing the clitoris to cutting away all of the woman's external genitalia before stitching the wound back together leaving only a tiny hole for menstruation and urination." yes it still exists.

POPSFacist Feminism Seen with Sarah Palin, seen in their absolute silence on the misogyny of Islamofacism, seen in their silence on the cultural practice of female genital mutilation (female circumcision), and on and on. Feminism apparently means being a socialist slut to women like Jessica Valenti.
