Dinesh's mainstays are straw men, claiming atheists are a dangerous "movement", and bashing liberals. One could compare him to Glenn Beck without a TV show.

POPSLonewolf Diaries: All Christians are Serial Killers My 70 year-old grandma, a christian woman, drives the same old beat-up car she brought with my grandpa 30 years ago to the Baptist church every Sunday morning. She weighs about 95 lbs. soaking wet. She occassionally makes sandwiches for the kids in Sunday School. Sometimes, she forgets the meat though. One day, she made a mayonnaise sandwich for me. Maybe she was trying to kill me? So I found the nearest potted plant and spit it out. But it got me wondering about her evil ways, and whenever I see her reading the bible, I sense she is plotting my murder.

Rush Limbaugh These people, Nick Thompson and his wife, out of the goodness of their hearts, allowed this stranger to live in an unused home while she tries to get on her feet. Kudos to them both. Rush Limbaugh, giant ass that he is, has the nerve to rant against the Thompsons’ as an embarrassment to Americans. For this comment and many, many others, Rush Limbaugh is an embarrassment to humanity. He views this type of charity only through the eyes of “what is in it for me”. And then his ‘ditto-head flock of sheep’ start bashing Thompson as a disgrace to Republican principles of self-responsibility. Self responsibility through helping your neighbor in time of need is the greatest show of respect we can offer each other. This is the kind of respectability that far too many Americans have forgotten. As Mr. Thompson said "Whether Republican or Democrat, the more people do small things like just helping your neighbor the better off we’d be."

POPSNew Film Anti-Religious? I can't remember any atheist attacks on the multitude of religious based films that we've been assaulted by over the years (except possibly for the Christian porn movie, The Passion of the Christ). Now the Christian censors are frantic that the movie's tame portrayal of the books it is based on will be too watered down. Their reasoning is that with the meeker film version people will be persuaded to buy the book and that is where the real god bashing occurs. So in their warped view of reality, the film is simply a feature length commercial for the book series. It's no surprise when one realizes that the major criticism for the film and books comes from the Catholic League. A group not known for its tolerance.

POPSEd Koch(D): GOP will hold both houses. Ed Koch is a life long democrat. He served in the House and was the mayor of New York City. He feels the GOP will hold because he believes the republican base is more likely to turn out and vote.
