POPSWar on Terror Won by Right Wing Bloggers America sleeps easier as we are saved from terrorist scarves . Score one for freedom, liberty, and inane dumbasses with way too much time on their hands. Now, if we can just get them to all stop being chickenhawks and go to Iraq.

POPSNY Times Report 121 Verterans Linked To Killings This story is unbelievably astounding, to think the chickenhawks ordered up a war, an unnecessary war, sent our young, barely trained, people into it. Then, after much wartime physical and mental weariness, those who are still in one piece come home and take their place back into a society, they now are not familiar with. It's comparable to training dogs to a killing madness and after they've outworn their murderous usefulness, putting them up for adoption by unsuspecting families with children. Most of the time, these depressing events are not tracked, so we as a whole, are unaware of their existence. MORE BELOW:

POPSRomney's: 5 Strapping Sons - None in Iraq! Hypocrisy More: Of more interest to his combat readiness, David was arrested in April of 2007 for trying to board a plane in Little Rock with a loaded Glock pistol in his carry on bag. So we know that the boy can shoot. Why isn't he on the front lines of the war his father so ardently supports in the name of Christ? (By the way, the reaction of Dad Huckabee to David's gun arrest is notable. "It's one of those stupid things," Mike Huckabee said. "He knows better." Ah, yes, nothing like a forgiving preacher. Do you feel safer now knowing that a gun toting animal abuser's father might be president? Clear the squirrels from the White House lawn now.) Huckabee says the war in Iraq is part of a "World War III' against Islamic fascism

POPSRepublican War Hero - "Bush Administration Are Losers" More: He would be open to the idea of either working in a Democratic administration or even running as the vice presidential nominee on a Democratic ticket -- though, he conceded, "I probably won't have to worry about it" because he's unlikely to be asked. "If there was an area that I thought I could make a difference and influence policy, leadership, outcome ... then I would entertain" those possibilities, Hagel said. He called Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton "capable." As for the speculation that he and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg might form an independent ticket, Hagel joked that "Bloomberg's got the money. I think it'd be Bloomberg-Hagel" ticket.

POPSWhy does Bush want to attack Iran? It's not as dangerous as Pakistan.
More: The safe haven provided by Pakistan has already had dire effects on U.S. and NATO efforts to fight the resurgent Taliban next door in Afghanistan Dozens of Taliban commanders have moved their wives and children to Pakistan, where they live in the suburbs of cities like Peshawar and Islamabad The militants dominate in areas beyond the tribal areas as well. Armed groups have effectively seized control in places like the picturesque Swat Valley, where a jihadi leader named Mullah Fazlullah rides a black horse and commands hundreds of men under the noses of a nearby Pakistani Army division that seldom leaves its barracks. Peshawar is perhaps the most important production and distribution center for Taliban and other Islamist material. Jihadi CD and DVD shops abound. One shop features large posters of the notorious Taliban commander Mullah Dadullah Akhund, who was killed in Helmand earlier this year, and pictures of Guantnamo inmates in their orange jumpsuits behind barbed wire

POPSSun Tsu would not have approved of GWB. Over 2000 years ago, Sun Tsu predicted what would happen to arrogant chickenhawks who went strutting into a war without a plan, without a clue, and without accurate (much less sufficient) intelligence. His foresight was 20/20

POPSWhen Chickenhawks Attack Loudmouth uber hippocrit and shameless chickenhawk, Limbaugh fully stuffed but continues to suffer verbal diarrhea. Rush, your mind is on vacation and your mouth is working overtime. Do yourself and your dittoheads a favor and STFU already.

POPSWounded vets must often fight financial battles, too This could only happen if those that sent him are totally devoid of empathy because they have always lived a life of privilege. The chickenhawks that see our young as property to be used and discarded are the real enemy of the people.

POPSBush sets up the Iranian Powder Keg More: The Iraqi commander in charge of the southern part of the country, General Mohan al-Furayji, said he would not hesitate to call for British help if there was an emergency.

POPSWho is the US fighting in Iraq? And when you hear Cheney say we have to fight al-Qaeda in Iraq, you will know that most of the people the US is fighting there are no such thing. Bomb Saudi Arabia! Wait I mean, look over there......it's the Iranians! Bomb the Iranians. Frigging nutjob lying chickenhawks.

POPSThe Iraq War Architects: Where are they now? MITCH DANIELS - Key Quote: Mitch Daniels had said the war would be an “affordable endeavor” and rejected an estimate by the chief White House economic adviser that the war would cost between $100 billion and $200 billion as “very, very high.”

POPSNothing here that Conservitives would want to see. This is a very large read and show. But well worth the effort. I know it will be too much for the Republicon,Conservitive,Chickenhawks to consume. But they still think were winning this war. And to my followers, take what you need and reproduce any way you wish. We need as many people to hear and see this as possible.

POPSIf the draft comes, will the chickenhawks go? Bush knows if he starts the draft. We will have a 70s reunion. And if he doesn't start the draft. The military will not have the troops to fight by this spring. He is just one quagmire after another.

POPSUseful Idiot season Well of course this sounds like our current commie propagandists...and it is, although the media and others seem to avoid the term, a tactic which was known some years ago as communist propaganda - LIES - to fit the political goal. It is a coward's position, and is not based in fact or reason. I was thinking the other day about how someone like Scott Beauchamp lied about war crimes of his fellow soldiers, yet he is hailed as a hero by the left. That is their cowardly position; hating the military and looking for ways to discredit, malign and derail the mission. To hell with the consequences, they have an election coming up! And God forbid the Republicans or the chickenhawks should be RIGHT about this...we have to make sure that everyone thinks they're WRONG by depicting them as bloodthirsty savages. Even though the soldiers who are dying are our neighbors, our sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc.-if not our own kids, they're the kids next door. Shameful.

POPSSupporting our Troops Support is more than clipping a plastic flag to your car window or sticker on your bumper. Chickenhawks fail again

POPSGeneration Chickenhawk: College Republicans Really need to check out the video at the Huffingtonpost.com website that this clip comes from. Typical chickenhawks. Asthma. Bad knees from playing catcher in high school. "Medical reasons." "It's not for me." These were some of the excuses College Republicans offered for why they could not fight them "over there." Like the current Republican leaders who skipped out on Vietnam, the GOP's next generation would rather cheerlead from the sidelines for the war in Iraq while other, less privileged young men and women fight and die.

POPSRepublican chickenhawks,They make me sick. Another case of why aren`t you fighting in the war you support. Because your a coward. And you have to go to work so you can live in your upscale life, driving your gas guzzling SUV. And your a republican without any common sense. You cant even come up with a good reason why your not enlisted. So pathetic.

POPSSenators against our troops Find the truth in who supports our troops. The chickenhawks that have gone against our troops, should be voted out of office. What will happen when this war grows bigger and no one shows up? The cowards that voted to abuse our troops, will be the first to run and hide.

POPSWILL THE POT EVER STOP CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK?
Intolerable use of weapons of mass destruction against enemies; unprecedented aggression against and occupation of a country which posed no threat to his own; routine kidnapping, torture, murder and secret prison system; wholesale slaughter of citizens from other countries; imprisonment of political rivals held for years without charges; and secret spying on his very own countrymen without court order or legislative approval, demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that this so-called "President" is a dangerous rogue, a tyrant, and a grave threat -- of the highest order -- to worldwide peace and democracy. His immediate removal from UNELECTED power was...and is...a completely justified imperative. Guess who this clip from Brad Friedman Blog is referring to? If you've answered GEORGE W BUSH... (Loud buzzer going off) YOU'RE WRONG... IT WAS SADDAM HUSSEIN. The very man Bush/Neocons said needed to be eradicated to make this world a safer place... ONCE AGAIN THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE

POPSSUNDAY MORNING TEARS. I listened to this npr radio broadcast of 3 mothers who had lost sons in Iraq. As a mother myself, my empathy for these women and their loss was intense... I read and hear of the numbers dead each day but the impact is minimal, a quick tear and a feeling of helplessness is scarcely the grip I get when something is so redundant. Until you hear from the actual true sufferers of this war, THE MOTHERS, THE FAMILIES, you can't imagine the cost these people actualize. Please listen to their stories of pain. Especially, Elaine Johnson, one brave mother who dared to call Bush on his lack of knowledge and sensitivity about waging this disgusting collide with reality. Be prepared to undergo the painful tears of sorrow and grief in identification to those unfortunates caught up in a game of chess by the neoconservative think-tanker's who have only power and approval to lose. POPSCINDY SHEEHAN, MAY BE ONLY TAKING A BREAK! This article from Politico.com suggests, Cindy is only taking a break... Good grief she earned it. I hope the word really is just "A BREAK" and not "RETIRED". WE NEED YOU CINDY, YOU ARE ONE OF US... Your burden is so much deeper than most who are not directly affected by this unjust war. You are a Mother who has suffered the ultimate blow of losing your child to an ideological dream of the idle rich to conquer the world. It's all material to them but for you it's an puncture left in your wellbeing, never to heal. WE NEED YOU CINDY. You are one of those who can truly symbolize the nasty business of war. WE NEED YOU CINDY, THE WORLD NEEDS YOU. Let's hope the day will come when we can finally come out of this nightmare Bush/Neocons have thrust us into and reignite the passions of a genuinely FREE society. Until that day Cindy Sheehan, WE NEED YOU!

POPSAnother voice of truth has been silenced. There was more sadness experienced this Memorial Day 2007. Besides all the tears shed, remembering those who died in wars and those who have died in this unnecessary Iraq war. Cindy Sheehan, has resigned from the Anti-War Movement. I hope her voice of courage and hope will not be silenced for too long. Cindy, we need you. thinkingblue.blogspot.com

POPSBush imperial moments of grandeur. Here is an article you won't believe. I can't believe it myself. Bush and his Neocons have planned the biggest American Empire Project ever considered by an American Administration. I guess it should not have surprised me... BUT IT DID! http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com

POPSYOUNG DEAD MUST FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE CHICKENHAWKS The young, fight a war for an ideology of the rich and lazy, who are perched on their IVORY TOWERS to oversee their experiment. They tout in unison that their war is good and call those who fight, brave soldiers. Yet, they treat them like children when their illusionary "WAR IS GOOD" image is jeopardized. "HEY KIDS, NO MORE COMPUTER TIME FOR YOU BECAUSE SOMEONE MAY SEE YOUR CREATIONS AFTER YOU'RE DEAD AND THINK YOUR DEATH IS SAD! THAT IS NOT THE MESSAGE WE WISH TO SEND!" POPSRepublicans must be more like Ike I was around, but at a young age, when the "I like Ike" buttons could be seen on peoples shirts and coats. He definitely had an understanding of war that has completely eluded this gang of chickenhawks!

POPS"Psychological motives of belligerent, chest-beating warmongers" Digby , clipped from Glenn Greenwald's blog, with some insightful points, I think. Neoconservative author Francis Fukuyama felt that with the fall of our last great opponent at the end of the Cold War (see Pax Americana ), American men were doomed to fail to live up to the Western-Frontier-era ideal of masculinity. In other words, peace is for wussies. This idea worried him so much that he wrote an entire book on the subject — The End of History and the Last Man — which was held by an important few warmongers in Washington to be the perfect moral prescription to find new enemies with which to wage continuous war.
