POPSBacteria growing in our soil This is a huge thing for my family. My little girl who is now 3 came down with Ecoli poisoning 2 years ago. Her kidneys shut down and she had to have multiple blood transfusions..we almost lost her. She is now a healthy and normal little girl. But after much research we could not find a source..we were vegetarian at the time. The practice in our area was/is to put human manure on the fields! It is very well know that human waste is full of the drugs that everyone takes. They can clean the bacteria out of the water but not the drugs! Now if a farmer puts cow poop on his veggie field or chicken or human..they are all full of by products of extreme drugs and antibiotics..and these will make their way into the food supply. The only way to stop this is by many people taking a stand! We are headed for self sustainability..growing our own as much as possible!

This is a more amazing story because in the not too distant past I had this vivid dream one night. I tend not to be a sleeping dreamer. In the dream, I was sitting on some rocks (so I thought) and they were in a circular shape. In the middle was water and there was a pod of dolphins (luminously shining) swimming. On the other side of the rocks were humans clambering all over the rocks (which turned out to be the crocodiles tail). At some point I became aware that the rocks I was sitting on weren't rocks at all. I was sitting on the head of a giant crocodile and I had my feet on its eyes holding them closed. I suspected it was to keep the "humans" safe. At some point I decided to take my feet of the crocodiles eyes but cannot remember any more of the dream... I wrote about the dream to a dear friend and said, "How amazing it would be if humans somehow learned to overcome their fear and befriend the crocodile." And then I found this - AWESOME!!!

POPS10 Things to Know About Keeping Chickens :lol: The medium sized ones appear to be the cockiest; perhaps it is a vertically challenged psychosis. The huge ones are dumb as a box of rocks, terrified of anything that moves and ready to crawl in a hole at the slightest shadow. The small ones seem to be in tune with their stature and instead of fighting are picked upon without mercy by those medium breeds. They tried to kill Bob; fortunately he was fixable and protected by the head hen upon return to the coopdom. Since hens usually lay their eggs in the morning, this is an excellent after lunch activity.
