POPSCalifornia to drivers: Drop the cell phone... This is one law that's come out of California that I'm in favor of implementing. However, I agree that it's the *talking* that distracts a person from his driving, not necessarily holding the phone. And I can sympathize with the person sitting for long periods of time not wanting to waste time looking at his neighbors. The text messaging thing was shocking. Common sense should tell you that!!
