POPSObama’s Energy Czar: Socialist Agent For World Government Socialist International
Barack Obama’s “climate czar" Carol Browner has been exposed as being a member of Socialist International, a highly influential group headed by a Bilderberg Group luminary that calls for the implementation of global government, despite Socialist International’s attempts to seemingly “memory-hole” information about Browner on their website. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that Obama and his cabinet are preparing to exploit fearmongering about global warming to push new measures of taxation, regulation and internationalism. Obama himself has vigorously promoted the revival of a bill that would slash carbon emissions by 80 per cent, a move that would inflict a new Great Depression, cost millions of jobs, and sink America to near third world status. Obama has also publicly stated his intention to create a new infrastructure of “green brigades” and informants to regulate every aspect of our behavior in the name of saving in the name of saving . . .

POPSSelf Proclaimed Elites and Tyranny
"there’s little or no distinction between Nazism and socialism. Even the word Nazi is short for National Socialist German Workers Party. The origins of the unspeakable horrors of Nazism, Stalinism and Maoism did not begin in the ’20s, ’30s and ’40s. Those horrors were simply the end result of long evolution of ideas leading to consolidation of power in central government in the quest for “social justice.” "Few Americans have the stomach or ruthlessness to do what is necessary to make their governmental wishes come true. They are willing to abandon constitutional principles and rule of law so that the nation’s elite, who believe they are morally and intellectually superior to the rest of us, can have the tools to implement “social justice.” "Those tools are massive centralized government power. "It just turns out last century’s notables in acquiring powerful central government, in the name of social justice, were Hitler, Stalin, Mao, but the struggle for social j

POPSHonduras America's Founding Fathers—like the framers of Honduras's own constitution—believed strong institutions were necessary to defend freedom and democracy from the ambitions of would-be tyrants and dictators. Faced by Mr. Zelaya's attempted usurpations, the institutions of Honduran democracy performed as designed, and as our own Founding Fathers would have hoped. Hondurans are therefore left scratching their heads. They know why Hugo Chávez, Daniel Ortega and the Castro brothers oppose free elections and the removal of would-be dictators, but they can't understand why the Obama administration does. They're not the only ones.

POPSOakland man turns 111, insists it's no big deal
More: Yes, Hatch is a cool dude. Just the nicest, sharpest, spunkiest, friendliest, most capable man you'd ever want to know. Age really has nothing to do with all that, other than to provide him with a vast array of stories to pepper any conversation. Like when he used to go hunting for jack rabbits in the "country" of Castro Valley and Hayward, back before all the freeways and houses and BART. He even hunted bear in Alaska until the time he saw another hunter kill a mama bear with cubs and it broke his heart, so he hung up his shotgun. "That got me right here," he said, touching his chest. He traveled for years as a merchant marine, working on cargo ships all over the world. He taught himself Spanish when he was in Mexico City. He survived an apartment fire in 1971 in West Oakland, though he lost a couple of fingers dangling from a burning window. He worked as a blacksmith, an auto mechanic and a taxi driver, and even drove Jimmy Carter to the Oakland airport one time.

POPSCan Honduras Be Saved From Communism? in order to defend their friend Zelaya. Unfortunately, some authorities in the U.S. have fallen for that version, without really knowing what went on. Why is Obama siding with Chavez and Castro on this matter? I believe that, on the one hand, Obama is beginning to show his socialist tendencies, which were denounced during the American presidential campaign. On the other hand, Obama is letting himself be influenced by several presidents of Latin America, particularly Lula of Brazil, who is the real power behind the São Paulo Forum. Can Honduras be saved from Chavez? I think it can, but it requires the participation of all citizens, not only of Latin America, but of the U.S. as well. Honduras is facing tremendous pressures, and will not be able to bear them without the help of the world public opinion. Every article, every interview, in favor of the Honduran democracy helps to defend their institutions against Chavez’s assault.

POPSThe Mysterious Van Jones Davis, the subject of a 600-page FBI file, is the mysterious “Frank” from Obama’s book, Dreams from My Father , and served as a mentor to a young Barack Obama in Hawaii. But other evidence supports the idea that Rep. Barbara Lee, one of the most extreme members of Congress and an apologist for Fidel Castro, played a key role in the Jones appointment. Lee, perhaps best known for casting the lone vote in the House against U.S. military action to remove the Taliban regime in Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks, is a close friend of both Jones and President Obama. But behind Lee and Jones is an influential network of communists known as the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS). Lee was a secret member of the group, a spin-off of the Communist Party USA, while Jones was the keynote speaker at a 2006 CCDS fundraiser.

POPSDraw The Line: No Communists in U.S.Gov.!!!! <"Jones shows up on a list of “veteran activists” attending a conference in the summer of 1998 at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the same place where Bill Ayers is now a professor. The purpose was to plot the “Black Liberation Agenda for the 21st Century” under the auspices of the Black Radical Congress. Angela Davis participated and the Communist Party USA helped organize the event.">

POPSVan Jones' Handout "Cash 4 Clunkers" Fail It seems clear that Jones has undergone, with powerful sponsors and benefactors, an extreme makeover To add to the mystery, it turns out that "Van" Jones is not even his real name. Aaron Klein of World Net Daily then wrote a story on Jones, citing Loudon's work. I have been engaged for months in a series of Freedom of Information Act requests with the Obama Administration for information about Jones and how he was hired. Beck, to his credit, is trying to peel away the protective cover. He needs our support to remain on the air and pursue this story. The trail will most certainly lead beyond Jones himself. Who Wrote His Book? His book, The Green Collar Economy, includes only the name of "Van Jones" as the author on the cover. But it appears that the book was largely written by Ariane Conrad, an activist and writer whose name appears on the inside, as in, by "Van Jones, with Ariane Conrad.

POPSObama Bankrupting U.S. Faster Than He Estimated: Gee, What A Surprise
Letting people keep more of their money -- to pursue entrepreneurship, invention, innovation and investment -- is the only antidote to a diseased economy. Cutting taxes, a mechanism that has proven so effective, so often, I can't believe anyone would even try to dispute them... cutting taxes lifts all boats. Tax cuts are the opposite of a "stimulus" package. They are a rallying cry for economic expansion. Tax cuts, however, are anathema to Democrat Statists who seek control of your private property. They who seek to control the size of your cars, how much energy you can consume, how much water your toilets can flush, what kind of light bulbs you can buy... anything and everything related to your privacy. Interestingly, it never ends with Democrats. They always want more control of you and your private property. Now it's your physical well-being -- socialized medicine and control of your body. And, after that, they'll want more.

POPSBay Area getaways with delightful surprises More: East Bay Lake Chabot Regional Park, Castro Valley…excellent bike trails, hiking, campgrounds for both tents and RVs…the surprise that will realign your brain gears is the giant bass. I've fished here in my canoe and had a kick catching small trout, bluegill, catfish and bass, depending on the time of the year, then looked down into the water and seen 10-pound bass swim right under us. Every once in awhile, someone catches one; the lake record is 17 pounds, 10 ounces, and biggest this year is a 12-pounder… Berkeley Marina… try walking to the end of the 3,000-foot Berkeley Pier. It provides a unique perspective on San Francisco Bay Black Diamond Regional Preserve, Antioch foothills… take the underground tour of a section of the old mines, where countless tons of coal and sand was excavated. The surprise comes on a 6-mile round trip to Jim's Place, where you can find a historic rock/cave dwelling and nearby 100-foot air shaft.

POPS1-year-old dies.....so sad and avoidable I can't even imagine having to go through this. What makes it really sad is how for-granted we humans take everything as we go through each day. Always thinking "that kind of stuff only happens to other people", until reality hits hard. We should learn from birds and animals because take notice how they take every precaution and always have a watchful eye on their babies. Not flinching one second. Never taking anything for-granted. Not only did the baby lose it's life but may as well say parents did also because the rest of their lives this tragedy will haunt and torment them.

POPSJourneys that changed the world Long before he met Fidel Castro, Ernesto Guevara did what any medical student would do with his free time: he went on spring break, driving across South America with a buddy on a motorcycle trip. The poverty Che observed led him to join a revolution in Cuba and, far less successfully, one in Bolivia that led to his execution. He wrote about his experiences in The Motorcycle Diaries and ultimately became a symbol for everyone from idealists fighting for the downtrodden to vendors looking for an easy way to sell T-shirts to college kids.<< much more at the source

POPSNo Coffee In Caracas?
expropriated land as part of his socialist revolution. For Venezuela to experience a shortage of coffee is like Obama experiencing a shortage of lies. Very difficult to imagine let alone arrange. Nationalization and shortages go together in the same way that Chicago and corruption go together. Find one, find the other. Naturally Chavez refuses to take the blame for his absurd policies. Neither does Obama. In typical socialist fashion, each blames others. Critics point the finger at price and foreign exchange controls that have slowed investments in expansion and maintenance and eroded productivity. The government blames shortages on speculation by the private sector. In a nutshell this is Obama’s health care plan. Conjure up a problem in the private sector, blame it on speculating capitalists, and use both as a reason to nationalize the entire system. This is not the first time Chavez ran afoul of Economics 101. Some years back he was already sticking his semi-illiterate

POPSLicensed To Kill "After the plots were publicized by a Senate committee, President Ford issued an executive order in 1976 barring political assassination. President Reagan broadened the ban, dropping the word "political" and extending the prohibition to include contract killers as well as government employees. Although the ban remains in effect, it has largely been ignored on the premise that it does not apply in a military setting. "
