The Barack Obama Record
merrie
by merrie  Yesterday 11:25 PM    6
Not Much of a Record And What There is, Obama’s Made Much of it Impossible to Access THE OBAMA REPORT Socialism is so much a part of his ideology that he is incapable of finding free market solutions to any of our problems. Private sector solutions don’t even enter his thinking. The policy areas that we need reforms the most: heath care, education, energy, and the financial markets, Obama is either an obstacle or he is proposing more government; it is certainly not a reform agenda. Obama is intent at shutting down all dissent. Obama vs. WGN-AM Over and over again, Obama has lied to Americans about how "the rich" don’t pay enough taxes; indeed, he is so steeped in his hard left ideology he has never bothered to check the stats produced each year by the IRS. Here they are: Who Pays Income Taxes? See Who Pays What For Tax Year 2006 Percentiles Ranked by AGI AGI Threshold on Percentiles http://docstalk.blogspot.com/2008/10/obama-report.html

Free Tips on Whiplash Compensation in Uk
carolshaw
by carolshaw  Yesterday 10:15 PM
Treatment of whiplash depends on the wide variety of symptoms present. Unfortunately, most treatments of whiplash have not been well tested to determine their effectiveness.Often the initial treatment for whiplash has been a soft cervical collar. The goal of the collar is to reduce the range of motion of the neck and to prevent any additional injuries. More recent studies have shown that more prolonged immobilization actually slows the healing process

WANT TO USE IT? PAY FOR IT YOURSELF! Health care (lack of) for the impoverished takes a back seat.
ianschneider
by ianschneider  10-9-2008
AS if this "Associate Professor" (I am bowled over) does not have to namedrop a school from the city where I first went to school, CHICAGO, he drops "the University that today has added yet another Nobel Prize winner in the sciences for the US" anyway. Three million dollars? If the benefit to the "children" is so great, let the parents of Chicago, the parents of Illinois or, BEST YET, the people who attend such science events, AS I OFTEN DID AT THE AMAZING CHICAGO MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & INDUSTRY pay for it. My parents took me to that museum, with the submarine and the NYC apartment sized washing machine. I think we paid, like, an ADMISSION AT THE DOOR. Last year I could not come CLOSE to paying for the Health care I was prescribed. I could not come close to affording my medication. Frankly, I could not care less about a parent actually having to pay a dollar a child to get into the museum where people suffering FAR WORSE than I am could use that money simply to LIVE AND BREATHE. Change you can believe in - change for the worse
pkronfield
by pkronfield  10-9-2008    7
Do you like paying taxes, then watch government become bigger and more incompetent? Do you like discovering your family doesn't have enough income and start looking for a second job, only to find there are none? Do you really want a health care system like Canada's (ask any Canadian what they think of their health care - they wait over a year for an MRI, for example..) Did you like Carter's sky high inflation with a downward spiraling productivity? Then you will LOVE the change Obama brings you.

If you suddenly fall ill, do your loved ones know your wishes?
Lexica
by Lexica  10-8-2008
The Five Wishes document helps you express how you want to be treated if you are seriously ill and unable to speak for yourself. It is unique among all other living will and health agent forms because it looks to all of a person's needs: medical, personal, emotional and spiritual. Five Wishes also encourages discussing your wishes with your family and physician. Five Wishes lets your family and doctors know: 1. Which person you want to make health care decisions for you when you can't make them. 2. The kind of medical treatment you want or don't want. 3. How comfortable you want to be. 4. How you want people to treat you. 5. What you want your loved ones to know. … The document speaks to people in their own language, not in "doctor speak" or "lawyer talk." It can be used in the living room instead of the emergency room. And it helps families talk with their physician about a difficult subject.

The Debate: I Learn Something New Every Day
merrie
by merrie  10-8-2008    3
Apparently 95% of us will need to sacrifice by enjoying Barack's tax cut and new health care plan but some will sacrifice by paying more in taxes. Raising taxes to battle a recession - well, you can't say Obama lacks for original ideas. THE OBAMA DOCTRINE: Obama asserts that America has a moral obligation to intervene with force in certain foreign circumstances and cites the Holocaust. His gist - if we could have intervened effectively to prevent the Holocaust we should have. Hmm - many have argued that the rail lines to Auschwitz were within range of US bombers yet Roosevelt did nothing. Both George Bush and George McGovern think Roosevelt erred - $79 BILLION: Obama was wrong about the Iraqi budget surplus at the last debate and he is still wrong.
