POPSThe Michael Jackson Case to Date July 1st
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the LAPD has asked the DEA to assist them in its investigation into multiple doctors who treated and prescribed medications for Michael Jackson. The LAPD wants help in tracking down the source of medications. As we first reported, the powerful anesthesia Propofol was found in Jackson's home and it appears he got the drug through an IV before he died. As we first reported, Propofol, a powerful anesthesia, was found in the house after Jackson died. Various medical experts tell us there is absolutely no medical justification for Jackson to have had this drug in his home -- it is used to knock people out before surgery. It is administered through an IV. We're told Jackson wanted the drug to sleep and that he had cravings for anesthesia -- whenever he had even the most minor medical procedure ... he had the doctor put him under. It is increasingly looking like Propofol may have caused Jackson to go into cardiac arrest and die.

POPSMJ 'Pleaded For Powerful Sedative' Before Fatal Heart Attack
but deferred a decision on the cause of death, ordering toxicology tests. A second, private autopsy has been requested by the family, over concern about his final hours. Ms Lee, 56, a registered nurse whose specialty includes nutritional counseling, said she received a frantic phone call from Jackson's staff on June 21 that the star needed her.

POPSMichael Jackson's unexpected death stuns world Wow, I don't know what to say. I'm shocked... he was one of the most famous people on the planet and an extremely talented but disturbed man. I'm just thinking about his kids and the strange arrangement that was made with their mother and what that will mean for them. I feel bad for those kids.

POPSArmy: KBR Committed 'Negligent Homocide' Not surprisingly, KBR had no comment. How are those no-bids contracts working out for us? Bush argued we had to hire them because they were so damned competent. Of course, that's Bush's definition of "competence," so this shouldn't be a huge surprise.
