POPSGreat Calender Change of 1752 - 11 Days Removed In 1752 Sept. 3rd became Sept. 14th. (Thus Dec. 25 used to be Dec. 13, too). All genealogical dates prior to 1752 are different than ours today. Some used to write Old Style (OS) when referring to this time frame to avoid confusion. This new system continues where every 400th year excepts a "leap year" (Feb. 29) to prevent the error which this correction was designed for. The calendar by definition must retain the proper relation between earth and sun by which seasons and equinoxes are given dates, which effects agriculture largely.

POPSMake a Sexy-times with Putin I'm taking out Mr. December from my Firefighters of New York calender and adding this sex-machine. Oh yeah hot. And by hot I mean hotter than a Chechen war of independence. I wonder what the Tuvans had to say about this little bit of modeling in their federally controlled backyard.

POPSDoomsday - The Mayan Prophesy December 21st, 2012. I probably won't be home that day, but I'll catch it later on youtube, I reckon. Jokes aside, they say the Mayan (or Atzec) calender is the most accurate ever made. Their doomsday is not so much about the end of time, but of the beginning or dawn of a new age of enlightenment. I think it's worth a gander. ;) This video explains the Mayan calender pretty well. Part one of three; The Mayan Calender Unveiled

POPSThe Human Resources History - Calender Informative, entertaining, and motivational. Creative people make them different: smart but naïve, often introverted, both humble and arrogant, more androgynous than others, both conservative and rebellious.
