POPSCan we still Buy American? Yes. BuyAmerican.com claims to have over 4,000 items made in America and they have several manufacturers claiming to make their products in America. Some items are made overseas and have the American made label in them so you have to look closely in not so obvious places on the product. Most American made products are crap (cars for instance), but so are a lot of foreign made products. The trick to buying American made is to stay away from Wal-Mart. They send a lot of our money to China. Why be a part of that? As far as food goes, you have to go to the right places. Most processed foods are from overseas, so shop at the local farmers markets and learn to can so you can have American grown food year round.
