However, it added, this focus has not yet been matched by similar attention to delivering services to ACORN's clients. The videos of ACORN staffers offering advice to a woman and a man posing as a prostitute and her boyfriend triggered a firestorm of criticism this fall, with some ACORN employees appearing willing to support illegal schemes involving tax advice, misuse of public funds and illegal trafficking in children. The videos "feed the impression that ACORN believes it is above the law," stated the Harshbarger report, intended as an independent examination of the issues. "We did not find a pattern of intentional, illegal conduct by ACORN staff involved; in fact, no action, illegal or otherwise, was ever taken by any ACORN employee on behalf of the videographers," Harshbarger said in a statement.

Over the holidays we visited various friend and families and I noticed two things about this issue: One was that our friends small children are no longer small. They are big teenagers! Second, was that some parents allowed their teens to have FB accounts and some didn't. What are your thoughts about this? The Michigan Democrat succeeded last month in getting 64 House Democrats to join him in attaching his pro-life amendment to the House version of the health-care bill. The “Stupak amendment,” as the provision is known, would prohibit the federal government from allocating taxpayer money to pay for any part of any health insurance plan that covers abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is in danger. Stupak had contact with the White House last weekend, when the Senate voted 60 to 40 in the wee hours of Monday morning to shut off debate on the Senate version of the bill. The current version of the Senate bill contains so-called “compromise” language crafted by Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.). This language does not bar taxpayer funding of health plans that cover abortion, but does create a firewall to supposedly keep federal money from being used to pay

POPSstates get more time to comply with real ID i know all too well about the hassles of trying to get id- after letting mine expire- for a bit too long and the having my social security card taken- well ..........it took me about 2 years to resolve the id- issue............brother.........makes it hard to do most anything without your "papers" am glad that is over- and i can be a good little sheeple now............
