POPS Dust Storm in Sydney, Australia 9.23.2009 No one was hurt as a result of the pall that swept in overnight, bringing an eerie orange dawn to Sydney. Dust clouds blowing east from Australia’s dry interior " parched even further by the worst drought on record " covered dozens of towns and cities in two states as strong winds snatched up tons of topsoil, threw it high into the sky and carried it hundreds of miles. POPSBrenden Foster Dies after inspiring the world "His dying wish was to help the homeless. "They're probably starving, so give 'em a chance, food and water." It has become a national movement." This child was more comassionate than most adults I meet. When asked what the best thing about life was, he answered "Having one." In over five states and world wide people responded, food and other programs to help the homless came in response. In his final moments, he had one last wish, to save the bees. A pilot called his flying friends and they are droppong flower seeds worldwide.

POPSThe soccer Black List Sport and features editor of 'The Voice', Rodney Hinds, said: "In many ways everyone on this list is a pioneer and it's important to pay tribute to their achievements." The list features senior administrators such as Millwall's executive deputy chairman Heather Rabbatts; assistant chief executive of the Professional Footballers Association Bobby Barnes; and Jason Rockett of Sheffield United - the only black chief executive in professional football. PFA chairman Chris Powell, who is also player-coach at Charlton, joins Ferdinand as the only other current player on the list. Some unfamiliar names are also listed such as Chris Nathaniel, a young agent who has negotiated a seven-figure book deal for England's John Terry and works closely with Ferdinand, Micah Richards, Obafemi Martins and Ryan Babel. The BBC is represented by Garth Crooks and sport radio editor Hepburn Harrison Graham. The list has been supported by football's anti-racism campaign, Kick It Out.

POPSRecast.... Buffy Buffy is one of my all time favourite shows... whenever I'm bored or need a break from study, out comes an old ep of Buffy. Anyways, stumbled across the Buzz Sugar recast challenge, and thought I'd give it a go (although, I really couldn't replace any of them!!) Buffy: Kirsten Bell (Veronica on Veronica Mars) Xander: Adam Brody (that guy on the OC) Willow: Tina Majorino (Mac on Veronica Mars) Giles: Hugh Laurie (House on House) Spike: Ed Westwick (Chuck on Gossip Girl) Yes, I realise there's a little overdose on ex-Veronica Marsers in there.... but I loved that show too, and actually saw Veronica as a new Buffy, and Mac as a new Willow.... they were obvious choices for me.
