POPSA woman dies of breast cancer every 13 minutes in the United States *** BOOBIES ALERT *** Colleges around my area are promoting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A paper I was handed by a student indicated that every three minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer? It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women and the chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some time in a woman’s life is about 1 in 8. African-American women are more likely than white women to die from breast cancer. Lesbians are at a higher risk of breast, cervical, and ovarian cancers because they are less likely to have children by age 30, if at all. Just wanted to pass this information along. I'm doing my best to keep abreast of the situation.

In a statement released to mark World Breastfeeding Week, August 1-7, WHO Director-General Margaret Chan said it was also important that mothers in disaster zones be given the support they need to continue or restart breastfeeding. "During emergencies, unsolicited or uncontrolled donations of breast milk substitutes may undermine breastfeeding and should be avoided," Chan said, arguing abandoning breastfeeding could put vulnerable child lives at extra risk. "The focus should be on active protection and support of breastfeeding."

POPS"Hey Facebook, breast feeding is not obscene". though i do not understand why woman would like to publish photos of them breastfeeding, i most certainly do not agree a dumb to the letter policy that facebook is following. The web should stay open for different ways of expression even if some does not fully fall under ones description of tastefulness
