POPSGuide to the Girls of Summer
Her shoes are hot in Serbia, her dress is hot in France, and she’s hot in your brain. She knows she’s a knockout as she struts her stuff into Starbucks and then off to learn Kabbalah while sporting sun glasses that double as a motorcycle helmet. Woo her with celebrity gossip and a borderline gay knowledge of fashion designer’s names. The Illusionist She’s got you ball-parking her age at anywhere between 14 and 32. She’s got you telling your friend’s she’s the hottest girl you’ve ever seen as long as she isn’t capable of sending you to jail on dates. The rule of thumb is this: if she’s got the best body you’ve ever seen then she’s too young, as any girl your age has had a few years of binge drinking and a few trips on the boyfriend express to leave her a little bit like a second hand pair of rollerblades- you can still roll but the wheels are a little worn down. Woo the young one with Milton Bradley board games and Miley Cyrus on your iPod. The Walk of Shame Girl She’s the girl

POPSWoman beats boyfriend with toilet seat for smoking crack The girlfriend tried to take the crack from her boyfriend when she found him in the bathroom of their home smoking crack. After she wouldn't give him the drugs, she grabbed the toilet seat and started hitting him with it. The couple's 8 month old was sleeping in the bedroom while the mother beat his dad silly for doing drugs! The girlfriend was charged (along with her boyfriend) with domestic battery and cocaine possession but she should get a reward! Good for her. He needs to stand up and be responsible now that he is a father. And if he doesn't, then his girlfriend should be able to beat the crap out of him until he gets the message!

POPSTop 10: Worst Male-Bashing Ads AT&T A guy is in Las Vegas, probably for a convention, and he’s never gambled before. He gets a taste for it, and loses money at the tables. Sounds like it could happen, right? Now here’s the AT&T version: same setup, but the guy calls his wife to report how much fun he’s having and explains in the naive tone of a kid going to school for the first time that he lost “chips” he wasn’t aware were worth money. Believable? Sure, as a science-fiction plot in which men are house pets. In the real world, even the crazy guy who bets his life savings has brains enough to know he’s not playing Monopoly.
