POPSReady to Revolt: Oath Keepers pledge to prevent dictatorship in U.S.
They are armed and promise to keep the oath they took to protect the Constitution. Founder Stece Rhoades: "We say if the American people decide it's time for a revolution, we'll fight with you." That type of rhetoric has caught the attention of groups that track extremist activity in the United States. In a July report titled "Return of the Militias," the Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center singled out Oath Keepers as "a particularly worrisome example of the Patriot revival." SPLC now monitors Oath Keepers on its Web site blog "Hatewatch." Oath Keepers is not preaching violence or government overthrow, Rhodes said. On the contrary, it is asking police and the military to lay down their arms in response to unlawful orders. Group supporters compare President Obama's America to Adolf Hitler's Germany. They also liken Obama to England's King George III during the American Revolution. One member calls Obama "the domestic enemy the Constitution is talking about."

POPSUN War Crime Accusations called Anti-Semitic.
The first thing to point out is that the South African judge in charge of this UN report is Jewish. So calling the report "anti-Semetic," is bizarre. Secondly, all criticism of Israel gets called "anti-Semetic," and this is an extreme example of that. (Since the judge in charge of the report is Jewish). No? Third, Most people are making their judgements based on actions -- like the blockade genocide in the Gaza Strip. It's fair enough and in fact moral to condemn this blockade (and it has nothing to do with racism). If racist accusation were allowed to avoid any criticism then during the evil rule of Hitler in Germany, he should have deflected any criticism by calling it "anti-German racism." No? Distress at the genocide of the Palestinian people, the slow starvation of over a million and a half people in the Gaza strip, has nothing to do with racism. End the blockade and much criticism would also end. It's a shame this ploy distract from looking at the real issues
1
POPSGaza War Crimes Report Backed by UN Council It would be good if this report helped end the slow starvation of over a million and a half people in the Gaza Strip, due to the Israeli blockade of the past couple of years. (This mentioned in the report).

POPSU.N. Rights Official Backs Gaza Report We can't allow Zionism to equal genocide. Right now over one and a half million people are being slowly starved to death in the Gaza Strip. Encourage our politicians to stop that. All else is meaningless words. Stop the Blockade.

POPSIsrael Says UN War Crimes Investigation a Distraction Hunting down the Nazis, though, wasn't a "distraction." The holocaust in Gaza deserves equal attention. Over one and a half million people are being starved to death in front of the eyes of the world in the Gaza strip, by the total and ruthless Israeli blockade, destruction of infrastructure, restrictions on employment, farming, fishing and repair of homes. The U.N. report says this blockade must be ended. It is not a "distraction." It would be stopping a crime against humanity.

POPSSigning Off On Sex Ed Sex ed came into being because kids weren't getting the necessary information to protect themselves. If parents treat sex as a taboo subject at home they are likely not to have their children attend a sex ed class.

POPSU.N. to consider Israeli War Crimes Report This clip is background to this U.N. decision, announce hours ago. There is also mentioned Hamas did a war crime, alleged to aim rockets in civilian areas. Over a thousand Palestinian civilians were killed in the last Gaza Strip invasion; 3 Israeli civilians killed. Note: the U.S. kills dozens of civilians every week. They just say: "We didn't mean it." The real issues are policies of genocide in the deliberate destruction of Palestinian water supplies and infrastructure, sewage plants, electrical supplis, destruction of industries and farmland, livestock, prohibition on fishing, travel, emprisoned in the Strip, blockade of needed goods including supplies for rebuilding, etc. -- policies designed to totally destroy and/or remove a population based on race.

POPSAhmadinejad Quotes "How can the crimes of the occupiers against defenseless women and children and destruction of their homes, farms, hospitals and schools be supported unconditionally by certain governments, and at the same time, the oppressed men and women be subject to genocide and heaviest economic blockade being denied of their basic needs, food, water and medicine," the Iranian President stated.

POPSAhmadinejad Speaks at U.N.
This is a reasonable summary of the Iranian president's speech. Surprises? He says he wants to see the elimination of all WMD's -- and this would be a surprise if you believe propaganda that he wants nuke weapons and turn a blind eye to the fact that Israel has WMD's. 2. He doesn't want to drive Israel into the sea (more false propaganda). He wants a two-state solution. 3. He thinks the slow starvation of a million and a half people in the Gaza Strip is genocide. (This led to the walkout of many). 4. He doesn't deny the Holocaust (never has) but continues to annoy Zionist by asking why this is a topic of special concern to Arabs and Iran, pointing out there have been other great massacres and genocides and that 60 million were killed in WWII and he's sorry about all of that. 5. He thinks of U.S. actions in Iraq and Iran as invasions, doesn't like them and says there are still secret prisons, Gitmo, and bad deeds going on. (All true). 6. We need spiritual values. Too m

POPSIsrael has at least 150 atomic weapons: Carter Greatest crime on earth In his speech Carter described Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip as "one of the greatest human rights crimes now existing on Earth." "There is no reason to treat these people this way," he said referring to the blockade, in place since the Islamist Hamas movement seized Gaza in June 2007. According to Carter, the failure of the European Union to support the Palestinian cause was "embarrassing." He said European countries should be "encouraging the formation of a unity government," including Hamas and Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas's rival Fatah movement. Carter was president from 1977 to 1981. During that time, he helped negotiate a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt and concluded a strategic arms agreement with the Soviet Union.

POPSJulias Ceasar to Algonquins: "divide and rule!" The Algonquins in Quebec want their rights respected; the company and government want the trees and try to "create" pliable minority with the tribe to "deal" with. Divide and rule has been the way to power and profit for several thousand years. Let's hope that the Algonquins can use Canadian law and savvy protest to keep and exercise their rights.

POPSU.N.: Evidence of Gaza War Crimes Other articles mention deliberate bulldozing of food sources, livestock, destruction of sewer and water plants, etc. Obviously, Israel accused the head judge, Goldstone, of bias. An anti-Semitic Jew? -- well, facts not as important in politics as much as consistent smear. I learned that Israel was preventing people in Gaza from farming and fishing. That pretty much makes it clear to me that Israel's policies = genocide, deliberately starving over a million and a half people to death, while they are imprisoned by a blockade. It was nice to see the U.N. recommend this blockade be lifted. It seems some Palestinians may have also committed war crimes, shooting rockets that may have hit civilians....there were 3 Israeli civilians killed in the latest conflict. Humm....but maybe they weren't given a chance to say they "didn't mean it." --- since U.S. (and NATO) kill dozens and dozens of civilians every week, but then they say "they didn't mean it."

POPSNo oil drilling without tribes' consent', UN tells Peru "The Committee also urged Peru’s government to investigate the conflict in Bagua, northern Peru, in which more than thirty policemen and civilians died. ‘The government should urgently form an Independent Commission, including indigenous representation, to carry out a definitive, objective and impartial investigation,’ CERD’s statement said. The government’s appearance before CERD was heavily criticised by organisations in Peru. CERD had asked the government to provide information about a number of issues that it ignored, including efforts to protect the rights of uncontacted tribes and controversial comments made by Peru’s president Alan Garcia in a Peruvian newspaper. Survival director, Stephen Corry, said today, ‘We urge President Garcia to put an end, once and for all, to its policy of carving up the Amazon without the consent of the people who actually live there.’"

POPSIsrael Strangles Palestinian Economy If you've been under siege and totally suffering a blockade for two years...while being killed like fish in a barrel, it should be no surprise that the "metrics," of your economy are not good. It is a surprise, though, to read about it in the Wall Street Journal.

POPSRight-wing terror tactics: here we go again! Remember Bush scaring us to war over weapons of mass destruction? Remember McCain's Convention images of the Twin Towers collapsing? POPSNew Israeli "Pretenses for Peace," Announced
This is a rather ruthless, cynical and cold view of the announced intent to "restart." Israeli-Palestinian, Middle East peace negotiations next month. "Restarting this carousel first begins with the old tune: The Israeli's say the Arabs must make concessions. They ask for these concessions while publicly and actively evicting Palestinian, and expanding their Jewish settlements into former Arab territory. Then the chorus sings: "And what about the 'problem,' of Gaza" --- or the Golan Heights or Palestinian violent resistance to oppression and invasion...all as if these are problems caused by others and nothing to do with their own policies of fascism, apartheid, collective punishment and Palestinian genocide. Now, everybody sing: "All we are saying is, give peace a chance." BUT - the "problem" of Gaza is that one and a half million people are being starved to death in front of the eyes of the world, for the last two years, due to an Israeli blockade. Stopping that woul

POPSEU to press UN to recognize a Palestinian State!? This is some exciting news and new twist in the ongoing Israel-Palestine war and the often nothing more but "Pretenses for Peace." But the slow starvation of over a million and a half people in front of our eyes, in the Gaza Strip blockade by Israel for the last two years does seem to have stirred up determined and brave resistence, including the direct action blockade busting and involvement of EU, North American and South American politicians. Now this dramatic idea has been introduced by the EU Foreign Minister. Right now the only news coverage I've found starts with pro-Zionist negative opinion of this idea...(although the idea is the central story). Will this be for real? I guess time will tell but it does seem that some crimes are just too big to hide or tolerate: like murdering thousand of Taliban POW's -- secret USA death squard run by the former VP Cheney - starving a million and a half people in front of our eyes.

POPSN.Korea defiant over sanctions threat... The USS John S. McCain was shadowing the vessel, the Kang Nam, the first ship to be monitored under a UN resolution imposed a week ago that bans arms shipments to and from North Korea, the official said. Pentagon officials declined to comment on a television report the Navy destroyer was heading to intercept the North Korean vessel. The officials stressed that the UN sanctions do not authorise military force and that Washington was pursuing a diplomatic strategy.

POPSBush Hypocrisy on Israeli Settlements Exposed
Not that there should have been any doubts about this: It's been decades of the USA saying "two state solution," and no settlements and it was always just two-faced phony words. At least now Israel has confirmed that. Another item in the news today was a survey that Only three countries in the world are less peaceful than Israel, according to Global Peace Index figures released this week. I don't know about this, though, it strikes me that Gaza has been turned into one of the worst places to live but I guess they're not an official nation, in truth more like a prison with the ongoing blockade and subject to wanton Israeli violence. The countries invaded by America were the worst places to live. Internal U.S. propaganda and flag waving often has people not realizing what a deadly killing machine it is. Best to stay out of its way. All such lies, phony words, false flag waving and ongoing murder and destruction, btw, benefits the war profiteers, not our nation or it's peo
