POPSSodaStream -Will this avoid the Soda Tax? Will this and some homebrew beer avoid the Obama non-tax soda tax? Might be a big seller if the tax goes through... and it's good for the environment.... what will they ever do? Probably find a way to tax it also.

POPSBeer of the Month I thought wine only could be subjected to tasting sessions; incorrect and incomplete. Beer, especially micro brewed labels could be as exquisite as wine or brandy when it comes to tasting and this Beer of the Month article stands for it.

POPSAnderson Valley Boont Amber Ale The Boont Amber Ale from Anderson Valley Brewing Company in Boonville, California pours out a deep, rich, reddish amber with good clarity and a two finger, off-white head that hangs around for a few minutes. On the nose aromas of black tea, malty grain and a subtle sweetness. In the mouth flavors of sweet malt balanced by pine and flowery hops that show more towards the end. Some iced tea like flavors too with a touch of spice.

POPSCorruption in Texas Beer It’s not like the state forbids bakeries from selling bread–or, for that matter, wineries from selling wine. But in Texas, the beer distributors give money to hundreds of state officeholders and candidates from both parties, allowing them to gut any revision to the state’s alcoholic beverage code that would reduce their business.

POPSMad River Brewing Co. Steelhead Extra Pale Ale The Steelhead Extra Pale Ale from Mad River Brewing Company in Blue Lake, CA pours out a golden straw in color with some cloud (unfiltered) and a small white head. Yeasty bread on the nose with some citrus notes. Rich and malty in the mouth with hints of honey.

POPSBeer of the Month Club So, it seems wine is not the only alcoholic drink which could be the subject of a tasting session; looks like there are a large variety of micro brewed beers with different flavors so I should try to get in touch with this Beer of the Month Club.

POPS"Clipmarks' Beer Guzzlers Club"
May 28th, 2007 is the official founding day of the the unofficial society; "Clipmarks' Beer Guzzlers Club". We're a secret society (shhhhh...), but it's not like "Skull and Bones", it's more like "We'll jump your Bones", but you get the idea. *LOL* The club celebrates (and therefore of course always toasts to) the love of the World's mightiest and most fun beverage; BEER!. :D I'm Chairwoman and {{betong}} is the Grand Master of Ceremonies and we have countless groupies and secret supporters in our ranks too. New members are automated added (even without their knowledge because we're THAT secret) if they have a clip that in any way mentions beer, so CBGC's true membership numbers are probably equal to that of a smaller European country. (Only the 33rd degree Guzzlers are aware of the precise membership numbers, because we're sooo secret, remember?) Welcome to CBGC and happy one month anniversary Guzzlers! You know who you are! (Some of you at least) Cheers!.

POPSMan's Best Bud Deserves Beer Kwispelbier currently retails at 7.35 Euros ($9.60) for four bottles plus postage on www.dogbeer.eu. This makes it an expensive tipple when compared to Holland's better-known beer brands which, as yet, have not unveiled plans to move into the pet market. Cats too will soon be able to get their whiskers into something stronger than the usual saucer of milk. Berendsen is planning to launch an as-yet-unnamed beer for felines in 2008. Meow!
