POPSThe Obama Hustle Their blithe leader, Barak Obama, with a glance, a smile and a lot of helium-inflated rhetoric, was suppose to dazzle Americans -- dazzle them long enough to complete the stealthy process of transforming the nation into a reasonable replica of a European socialist state. Whether modern France or Russia (circa, 1950) is your call. Now to finish the nation's transformation from red, white and blue to institutional gray, they may have to use a crowbar to pry open the window. The crowbar is also known as "reconciliation." Co-opting the nation's financial and automotive sectors is no mean feat. Mussolini must be smiling from somewhere. The absurdly named economic stimulus would be better coined "The Democrats' Pig Trough.") The "trade" part falls squarely on the shoulders of most every American not considered elite. Americans are expected to trade prosperity and their standards of living for the satisfaction of helping 1) restore the Garden of Eden;

POPSNetanyahu's Coalition by Uri Avnery «Now the task is to present to the world, and especially the US and Europe, a false picture, pretending that our new government is yearning for peace, acting for peace, indeed turning every stone in search of peace — while doing the exact opposite. The world will be submerged by a deluge of declarations and promises, accompanied by lots of meaningless gestures, conferences and meetings. People with good ears are already hearing Netanyahu, Liberman and Barak starting to play around with the 'Arab Peace Initiative'. They will talk about it, interpret it, accept it ostensibly while attaching conditions that empty it of all content.»

POPS Obama’s Planned Gas Tax Voodoo 2. The cost of consumables will skyrocket at a time when inflation is already in place. Say hello to $7.00 tomatoes, $6.00 for a gallon of milk. 3. Higher prices for commercial travel, and incidently more airlines forced to shut their doors due to higher fuel cost and lack of passengers due to to the fact they can’t afford to fly. In other words it will have huge negative affects.

POPSUPDATE: Breaking Intelligence Report: Sanctions On Iran
But "Change" is taking place, Ehud Barak has intimated, originating not in the Mideast but in Washington, D.C. in the form of a U.S. reconciliation with Iran. Such a process could result in U.S. acceptance of Teheran's nuclear weapons program and the downplaying of its threats against Israel. "We must arrive at a strategic understanding with the United States over Iran's military nuclear program and ensure that even if at this time they opt for the diplomatic option, it will only last a short time before harsh and necessary sanctions are imposed," Barak said. Obama decided to end sanctions against Iran after determining that the U.S. measures had failed to block Teheran's missile or nuclear weapons program, officials said. In his address, the Israeli defense minister indicated that Obama had forged an entirely new approach toward Iran. "The administration has abandoned sanctions entirely," the U.S. source said. "It is a completely new ballgame."

POPS98% of all cities saw a rise in unemployment America needed a change he cried. America needs to go in a new direction was the campaign platform. Since being elected America has indeed gone in a new direction STRAIGHT DOWN. The Dow has gone down, consumer confidence has gone down,m retirement plans have gone down, employment has gone down, and the dollar has gone down in value. Way to go Barak. You surely are bringing America CHANGE. Pocket change. To be fair some things have gone up as well. DEFICIT GOVERNMENT SPENDING has gone through the roof. And before long TAXES will be sure to go up. SO HOPE AND CHANGE are on the way.

POPSNancy Killefer Takes a Hit for Tom Daschle She was nominated to be Barak Obama's chief performance officer, but it turns out that she had a $900.00 plus tax problem. So why is Killefer going and not Daschle? I suspect that if she didn't go, it could be argued that Daschle should not be confirmed because the number of Obama's nominees with tax problems are starting to pile up and Congress should draw the line somewhere. I believe she is taking the fall to remove a reason for rejecting Daschle, even though her $900 plus tax problem is minuscule compared to Daschle's $140,000 tax problem. Besides, it's commonplace to hold women to higher standards than men. It's a convenient excuse for keeping the glass ceiling intact.

POPSMorning After. "Hamas Still in Business". Round 2 before Election The pause for Obama's enthronement has been observed. The next round will be pre-elections in Israel, so within a fortnight. Barak's gang are losing in the polls so another 1,000 dead Gazan women, children and civilians might swing it back their way. Dead Gazans equals more votes?! Certainly, they have nothing to lose. Has their worldwide reputation ever been lower - well excepting in the US that did so little pre WW2 and is making up for it since at Arab expense? They are opening called Nazis and worse. Their crocodile tears for the GOOD Jews, non-Zionist, that died in the WW2 holocaust are wasted, particularly among the many who know the part played by Zionist in collusion in the deaths in WW2! Their beggar-bowl may be empty from here on! Who would want to seen supporting Hitler once WW2 started?! POPSNetanyahu Maintains Edge In Israel Election Race Likud campaign billboards paint a different picture -- of a confident-looking Netanyahu and an accompanying slogan: "Strong on security, strong on the economy." LIKUD LEADS With the vote now two weeks away on Tuesday, polls show Likud firmly in the lead after Israel's Gaza offensive, trailed by Kadima and with third-place Labor, led by Defense Minister Ehud Barak, gaining support as a result of his role in the war. The surveys give Likud some 29 seats in the 120-member parliament compared with about 25 for Kadima. Such a margin would leave Netanyahu well-placed to form a coalition government that could include partnerships with Kadima or Labor, as well as smaller religious and minority-interest groups.
