Obama Administration Policies Could Be Big Problem for Small Businesses
merrie
by merrie  8-30-2009    1
Textron was the single largest recipient of federal small business contracts. Textron is a Fortune 500 firm with 43,000 employees and over $14 billion in annual revenue. Textron brought in $775,773,505 in contracts through their AAI division. Other firms considered small businesses by the Obama Administration included, British Aerospace (BAE), Rolls-Royce, General Electric, Xerox, Office Depot, Staples, Dell Computer, AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, 3M Corporation, General Dynamics, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications, GTSI, Raytheon, Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Blair interferred in Courts: Fraud Probe
righthand
by righthand  2-14-2008
"The SFO inquiry arose out of BAE's £43billion Al-Yamamah arms deal with Saudi Arabia in 1985, which provided Tornado and Hawk jets plus other military equipment in 1985. In December 2006 the then Attorney General, Lord Goldsmith, announced the probe was to be discontinued, citing national security considerations. The Attorney General said that would have "seriously negative consequences" for UK national security and the "highest priority foreign policy objectives in the Middle East". But Ms Rose argued the real reason for dropping the investigation "was not national security but the commercial situation" and the decision violated the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. The decision was also based on "tainted advice" and was unlawful because the Director had permitted threats, or blackmail, to influence his decision. " ,,,DailyMail

U.S. Claims Right to Kidnap Any British 'Suspect'--Without Evidence
blueridge
by blueridge  12-2-2007    1
Ironically, Americans fought a revolution against Britain which did this to the Colonists! Proof America has come full circle from resistance to tyranny from being the author of it. Now this should not be confused with normal legal extradition, where the foreign government cooperates and hands over suspects, by cooperative agreement treaties, to comply with laws of justice and rules of evidence to prevent criminal flight. This is a tyrannical claim to right of kidnapping without British gov't support. The danger is that the term "suspect" is then made into a crime itself, without legal remedy, people can become political prisoners. Implication is that British citizens who influence their government against the U.S. could be taken under some pretence, thus silencing opponents within Britain. P.S. Israel has no extradition treaty with the U.S., and Israeli spies and others flee to Israel, after their crimes here, to flee U.S. prosecution.

right to kidnap British citizens
spherepet

right to kidnap British citizens AMERICA has told Britain that it can “kidnap” British citizens if they are wanted for crimes in the United States. The admission will alarm the British business community after the case of the so-called NatWest Three, bankers who were extradited to America on fraud charges. More than a dozen other British executives, including senior managers at British Airways and BAE Systems, are under investigation by the US authorities and could face criminal charges in America.

Another Innocent Hostage Murdered
pkronfield
by pkronfield  7-31-2007    1
I know liberals constantly need to be reminded why we are fighting. With their heads buried so deeply in the sand, they notice little, and have long forgotten about 9/11. The muslim monsters who call themselves "taliban" have murdered another innocent in cold blood. That is why our troops are there, and that is why we are killing them like rats, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and whatever hole we find them in. When they are exterminated, then we will have peace again.
