POPSYoung Pulsar Shows its Hand Don't quote me as totally correct but I recall something about a "balance" in all things. Mirrored objects; opposites attract; laws of physics; whatever the case. As I read this article I thought to myself, if this is considered "the most powerful electromagnetic generator in the Galaxy," is it there for a reason? What would happen if it did not exist? What effects does it have in the universe beside what they can see here? This article was truly an eye opener for me, regarding how advanced and infinite the universe is. I suddenly felt small in comparison.

POPSAxis Of George Soros & The Vendetta Against Norm Coleman (UN Secretary General Kofi Annan’s deputy and right-hand man at the UN) who was seen as spinning away any culpability of Annan and the UN itself in this travesty of a program. Coleman thereby clearly earned the wrath of George Soros, for the ties between Brown and Soros are tight and seemingly mutually beneficial. How close was Soros to Mark Brown? Soros provided an apartment of very advantageous rates for Brown; the favoritism bestowed upon Brown only began with that token of appreciation and support. Upon leaving the UN under the cloud that Coleman helped create, Brown was named the vice-president of the Quantum Fund run by his friend George Soros. Brown had no experience in the hedge fund world, but such sinecures are generously passed out by billionaires wanting friends that might reach high places—they are an investment (see Axis of Soros in the Wall Street Journal’s archives).

POPSWashington Post Turns Over Front Page to Bush PR The Bush PR team is busy spinning the truth to rewrite history as part of the “Bush Legacy Project”. Despite what the Bushites are trying to shovel off onto us, those of us who were actually awake during the last eight years know what really happened. Let us not forget.

POPSLet's junk the myths and celebrate what we've got Moreover, we need to become responsible versus petty humans; in the words of the article "When you see nothing but junk, create quality. Where quality is hard to find, curate it, adding your own seal of approval with a link. When you read inaccuracies and misunderstandings, add facts, corrections, context and journalism. If people on the internet get things wrong, educate them. When you hear the noise of people talking online, listen." Thumbs up.

POPSThanks AP And ABC News For Spinning Liberal Bias My argument is bolstered further by the authors' ridiculous description of the weather as "out-of-control." They would have you believe that until eight years ago, when a certain Republican became President of the United States, the country had never experienced hurricanes, tornadoes, extremely high and low temperatures, and floods. The weather has been calm for the billions of years of the earth's existence and then suddenly, boom! The weather's out of control. AND we can make the weather not be out of control (i.e., if we elect a certain Democrat president .) Really, this article is an absolute embarrassment in every way. A DNC press release couldn't be more biased. There is positively nothing the least bit objective about this article. It's a string of hysterical unsubstantiated Democrat talking points.

POPSEverything's Bigger in Texas Wow! My daughter lives in Texas and sent me this article. I wish I could see this web! Shades of "Arachnophobia"? But it must have been beautiful and now it is helping trap millions of mosquitos. We could use that here in Costa Rica. Hemorrhagic Dengue is very bad this year. But at least we have millions of spiders spinning webs.

POPSPress Failing, Says Critic Yesterday was pretty interesting to me. I had seen a clip in my Google Desktop sidebar a couple of days ago headlining how the press is failing the general public. I didn't click on it then, but I meant to go back and read it. I should've clipped it for later... At any rate, when I got home last night, the Mrs. wanted to watch a show on PBS with Bill Moyer. We did. He discussed how the press failed the public in the lead-up to the war. It was a very interesting point he was driving home. It really made me think deeper about the whole situation. Of course, I was skeptical during the whole lead-up, because I don't trust any president that cites the elite as his base. That's just not right IMO. After watching Bill Moyer's program I just had to go back and find the clip. This is the first page I came across when Googling "press failing public". I don't think this is the exact article, so I'm gonna keep searching. I'll definitely clip it when I find it.

POPSNewsBusters Play Key Role Getting Truth Out More at the source. Admiral Fox noted that sovereignty was only transferred to Najaf province in December, so this was early on in the process. The Admiral concluded by calling Najaf "a good news story."
