POPSEven Funnier Now It’s a pretty awesome April Fool’s prank as far as pranks go, so today on The Day of Fools I salute you, Eric Thompson. Well played. I blogged yesterday about Eric Thompson (of thegunsource.com) and the April Fool’s Prank he played on people who subscribe to his mailing list. Well, Eric left me a note in the comments of that post, which was really the cherry on the perfect sundae of prank: Even Funnier Now t worked a little too well. Our servers got crushed and I received a call from the ATF DC office stating that they didn’t find it “that funny” considering all the calls they are getting. http://gunnuts.net/2009/04/02/even-funnier-now/

POPSApril Fool's Prank: Machine Guns Legal Again I blogged yesterday about Eric Thompson (of thegunsource.com) and the April Fool’s Prank he played on people who subscribe to his mailing list. Well, Eric left me a note in the comments of that post, which was really the cherry on the perfect sundae of prank: t worked a little too well. Our servers got crushed and I received a call from the ATF DC office stating that they didn’t find it “that funny” considering all the calls they are getting. I love that people were fooled enough by the prank to actually go an call the ATF to verify the news. I literally laughed so hard I almost cried when I was reading that. Anything that causes grief for the pencil pushers at ATF is okay with me. Well played Eric, well played indeed. humor Even Funnier Now April 2, 2009

POPSTeen paints 60ft phallus on roof of family home When Mr McInnes phoned his son, who is currently in Brazil on a gap year, the teenager said: "Oh, you've found it then!" The boy's father appeared to take the prank in good humour. But he said: "When Rory gets home he will be given a scrubbing brush and white spirit and he can go and scrub it off."

POPSConficker worm activates on Apr. 1 The scariest thing about the Conficker worm is that we don't know what it's supposed to do; the infected computers will form what may be the most powerful parallel computer, but to what end? Is it a prank? A giant spam engine? Something more nefarious?

POPSShips in Custody Bail Out?! O.K - That's the weirdest story I've ever heard. Ships in custody? Bail? "The release of its ship"?! Is it me, or does it sound like an April Fool Day prank executed too late?
