POPSDecember 15th: Google Promotes Global Language--Esperanto Today, December 15th, Google's search engine promotes something most have never heard of, until now--Zamenhof Day. This is Google's Utopian Earth, where one invented Global Language (replacing English) apparently, is what THEY desire. Apparently Google is among "users of Esperanto". Of course to reverse course and revive One World Government, a return to building the Tower of Babel, One Language is the goal. Google Earth is not just a name apparently, but their ambition which this hints at.

POPSFederal Tax Extension For Busy Executives Federal Tax Extension For Busy Executives Author: Gen Wright The Federal Income Tax system is a complicated one and that makes it hard to ensure that everything is in order and accounted for before you send in your tax return. There are many things you need to look at and for some it is more than the generic W-2 and 1099. So for some it is impossible to get the return ready by April 15th. This difficulty may be a faced by a lot of people and the reasons would vary from person to person. Mostly, it is faced by those people who have a complicated financial situation. This makes filing the return a much longer process and a far more complicated one. Of course no one wants to file their returns in a hurry for fear of making mistakes. This is why the IRS has the provision for a Federal Tax Extension. The Federal Tax Extensions are availed by a lot of people who wish to take more time preparing their return. ..... www.credit-guru.info

POPSJim Willie's COMEX Prediction China is the biggest gold producer in the world now, but none of its output is directed to the open market. Russia is a significant gold producer also, but none of its output is directed to the open market either. A near default occurred in early April from a close call to Deutsche Bank on 850 thousand ounces of gold. Far less gold bullion rests in COMEX vaults than is advertised.

POPSCNN Has Announced That Susan Roesgen's "taking a break." As we now know, Roesgen wrapped up the live shot, saying "I think you get the general tenor of this," that it was "not really family viewing" from an "Anti-CNN" crowd. Our source says Roesgen received an avalanche of email messages, some supportive, and some "vitriolic with crude insults." "Not family viewing?" Okay, perhaps not. We are certainly not a fan of the venal tongue, in private conversation or on the air. But come, Miss Roesgen, have you watched your CNN colleague Anderson "Vanderbilt" Cooper lately? He of the "It’s hard to talk when you’re tea-bagging" wild pitch on Tuesday? THAT's family viewing? Perhaps it is time you took a bit of a rest. H/t: Again, NewsBusters super-informant MBlatt.

POPS My Tea Party Rant Huckabee saddled the Republicans with McCain, period. Romney would have been the candidate to have on the podium when it was obvious that the economy was in trouble. Now remember, with no Obama in the White House pursuing his Marxists policies, it is very unlikely that these Tea Parties would have ever occurred. So, I find it particularly outrageous that Huckabee was out in front, co-opting the Tea Parties to the benefit of his ‘Fair Tax’ issue, when he in large part, contributed to the eventual election of Obama by saddling us with the inept John McCain. Now, Huckabee has parleyed his campaign presence into some sort of Fox TV show and we can expect him to be putting his mug in front of any populist movement that he thinks he can use to further his cause - him. ( There is a good article over on mises.org about the Flat Tax and the Fair Tax, and how they distract from the real problem - out of control spending) http://mises.org/story/3389

POPSApril 15th: The Case Against the Income Tax Taxation is a barometer of citizens' freedom versus government power. Read further. Ron Paul clears the fog and the "radicalism" away from this suggestion with sober analysis: You may be surprised to know that the income tax accounts for only approximately one-third of federal revenue. Only 10 years ago, the federal budget was roughly one-third less than it is today. Surely we could find ways to cut spending back to 1990 levels, especially when the Treasury has single year tax surpluses for the past several years. So perhaps the idea of an America without an income tax is not so radical after all.

POPSAre you teabagging today? Once again the clueless Republicans are blindly massing in their lemming manner to stage a non-protest protest today at the outrage of the non-existent Obama tax hikes (taking into consideration the increase for the 1% top earners). If you so desire, there's a short video of Countdown on this clip's site that hosts an interview with Lawrence O'donnell which is quite good.

POPSThey Did It For You.... Wasn't there a *movement* revealed not too long ago which was seeking to redesign the Constitution...calling it antiquated? I don't know what the future holds for us but I think that Washington is beginning to understand that, while the growth of government has been increasing, it has gone nuclear in the last several years and more so in the last months. There are a lot of citizens who are realizing that if this continues we will no longer be a nation "..of the people, by the people, and for the people." A. Lincoln It was ok for Peta protests, War protests, Green protests, abortion-rights protests, etc.... but when the 'working class' protests taxation without representation and rejects the taking of their paychecks to fund a larger welfare state, well...suddenly we're extremists.

POPSSo Tomorrow Is Tea Party Day The combination of the two is scaring the bejabbers out of the left because it has the potential to change the political momentum in the country. So much so that Paul Krugman was dispatched by the New York Times to try and quench it. And the Huffington Post is linking what it calls ‘Tea Bag Terror’ to the rallies I think it is fair to say that the protests have gotten the attention of the left and the right. The question is, will it work? Will an anti-tax rally shift the political debate at a time fewer Americans seem to care about taxes because of Republican success at lowering them? A very interesting article on this from Pollster.com, The Irony of Tax Cuts.
