POPSPope Led Cover-up of Child Abuse by Priests This spotlight now after his recent "apology" for sexual abuse by priests that lacked any credibility. The Pope is a liar, like the devil, as history has consistently demonstrated. "By their fruits ye shall know them", Jesus warned of false prophets. Voila! Where is the repentance for his own role in these crimes of protecting the false church (the primary concern) through evasion and cover-up instead of prosecution and removal? Mass-mongering will never erase nor bring forgiveness for these heinous sins from either God or men! This Antichristian cult must be seen for what it is, a religious-political empire claiming "apostolic authority" of wealth and corruption, pomp, priest-craft, and unscriptural ceremonies that Jesus and the apostles never taught, but consistently warned about would come. This is NOT, nor ever was, a true Christian church or faith, but an impostor.

The Vatican differs from the White House on immigration and the death penalty but on other issues including stem cell research, gay marriage and abortion there has been, as the Catholic daily L'Avvenire put it, "total harmony." .. Independent He'll have to become a Christian first, won't he?

POPSNational Priorities When I clipped this story from Google News it was one of 42 others. David Letterman's return to the air in the midst of the writer's strike contained 742 news stories. I worry deeply about this country. Judged on implications to the future of this country the story about healthcare wins hands down but the gossip mongers (I refuse to call them journalists) realize who pays their salary. Without grassroots support this situation won't change.

POPSPriests come to blows in the Church of the Nativity CNN reports that priests from rival Christian sects have broken out in violence over who gets to clean the Church of the Nativity. Yes, two days after the celebration of the birth of the Holy Infant so tender and mild, in the church that is built over the site of His holy birth, dedicated men of God were beating each other bloody over who gets to clean out the manger. The rivalry is so intense that Palestinian troops had to form a human shield to separate the three groups of priests who traditionally clean the church: Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox and Armenian Apostolic.
