POPSFlorida Buries the Islamist Threat to Rifqa Bary "If you are a blogger, or post at forums, please spread the word about this case. The Muslim Brotherhood and its useful idiots on the Left are close to achieving a major propaganda success with this probe, and only massive negative publicity will have a chance of turning it around — and possibly saving Rifqa Bary’s life" --Baron

POPSThe Emerging Lie Have you heard of the Emergent Church? The Shift? Can you trust today's new evangelical leaders? Some are attempting to morph the evangelical platform into messages that deny the basics of Christian doctrine. It's often anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-truth. More interested in trends and politics than in obedience to God, they are attempting to sway evangelical opinion using propaganda and "divide and conquer" techniques. This is apostasy, a clear "falling away" and it is radically changing what some people believe. Sadly, these pastors and celebrities are not trustworthy representatives of Jesus Christ, no matter how clever and persuasive they may seem. Discover the liberal left's new agenda: not God's truth, but faith-based politics.

POPSWaiting To Find Someone Else "Even when she lived in Afghanistan, she did not wear a burka as her mother and sisters do. When she was 12, she said, she broke a cultural taboo by sitting with Afghan men to talk politics, encouraged by her father. She then raised $8,000 in a single night, selling home-cooked Afghan meals to American donors. She used the money to create the 100 Mothers Literacy Program to help educate women in her village. At first, there was resistance in Afghanistan, she said -- from village elders and the women themselves. The women said they were too old to learn and preferred that the money be used to build toilets. She said she feared Taliban insurgents or sympathizers would retaliate against them for teaching women -- considered apostasy by some Afghans. "My dad is one of the best dads ever," she said. "If he was a mean dad, it wouldn't be so hard to say no to him."

POPS"Part of the problem, Of Course, Lies in the Imperfections of Man" "Part of the problem, of course" orated The One, "lies in the imperfections of man - our selfishness, our pride, our stubbornness, our acquisitiveness, our insecurities, our egos, all the cruelties large and small that those of us in the Christian tradition understand to be rooted in original sin." And the solution to so much human imperfection? Straightforward: take one eight-month-old baby, pierce its skull with a scalpel, vacuum out its brains until its skull collapses - and, hey, hope! Change we can believe in. Obama unapologetically reiterated his pro-abortion stance. The principal of Notre Shame, as genuine Catholics now call it, Father John I Jenkins, CSC - the most despised priest in the Catholic world - tried his best to put a good face on Obama's visit and his derisory honorary degree. And the solution to so much human imperfection?

POPSHundreds of Irish Catholic priests 'to be implicated in child abuse report' Rome should have paid attention to Paul: 1 Corinthians 7:7 For I wish that all men were even as myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. 8 But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; 9 but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to be on fire.

POPSSenator Praises Inquisition as Proof that Torture Works Bush more Catholic than Kennedy http://thesop.org/index.php?article=12307 ------------ America becomes a natural ally of the Vatican. Weigel reminds that during his first term, President Bush met with the Polish pontiff three times.

POPSThe Jesuit Oath Exposed Did you take an oath? Answer: I did, to destroy heretics and their governments and rulers, and to spare neither age, nor sex, nor condition; to be as a corpse without any opinion or will of my own, but to implicitly obey my Superiors in all things without hesitation or murmuring.

POPSThere Is An Evangelical Cancer In The Military! Panderers for the Dragon chasing this elusive "evangelical" boogie man...not fingering the Jesuit or Knights of Malta infiltration of our military. Speaking of Crusades, but dare not mention Vatican influence...The true culprit of this world is never presented to the masses, for a house cannot be divided against itself. The devil cannot cast out devils. The persecution conditioning begins...promoted by the heresies of apostate whores.

POPSJerusalem - Prof.: Magen David Not an Ancient Jewish Symbol
The official usage of the Star of David as a Jewish symbol began in Prague. Prof. Scholem writes that it was either chosen by the local Jewish community or by the Christian rule as a means of branding the Jews, who later adopted and embraced it. In 1354 Emperor Charles IV granted the Jews the privilege of raising a flag of their own, and this flag contained the Magen David. One of these flags can still be found in Prague's Old-New Synagogue. From Prague, where the Magen David was printed on book covers and engraved on cemetery headstones, the symbol spread to the rest of Europe and gradually became known as the symbol of Judaism. During the first Zionist Congress in Basel in 1897 the Zionist flag, which bears a blue Star of David, was chosen. But Prof. Scholem claims that the symbol only became truly meaningful during the Holocaust, after the Nazis used it to mark the Jews, and thus sanctified it. According to Scholem, this gave the graphic symbol a spiritual sense of sacredne
