POPSObamacare: The Grassroots are Always Greener
Who's funding the Obamacare campaign? Michelle Malkin http://www.onenewsnow.com/Perspectives/Default.aspx?id=579006 "On Thursday, a national “grassroots” coalition called Health Care for America Now (HCAN) will march on Capitol Hill to demand universal healthcare. The ground troops won’t have to march very far. HCAN, you see, is no heartland network. It is headquartered at 1825 K Street in Washington, DC " smack dab in the middle of Beltway lobby land. In fact, 1825 K Street is Ground Zero for a plethora of “progressive” groups subsidized by anti-war, anti-Republican, Big Nanny special interests. Around Washington, the office complex is known as “The Other K Street.” The Washington Post noted in 2007 that “its most prominent tenants form an abbreviated who’s who of well-funded allies of the Democratic Party….Big money from unions such as the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees,

POPSPublic Financing of Elections Dead - McCain There is some poetic justice that the "architect" of such a miserable piece of legislation should find himself on the losing end of a race where his opponent thumbed his nose at the law. But the fact that the man who was the chief beneficiary of McCain's stupidity is a far left liberal who is seeking to alter America doesn't give any satisfaction. Every attempt by McCain to establish himself as some kind of leader in the Republican party since his defeat has failed. He is a pariah of a politician and most Republican senators want little to do with him. But he will remain popular with his friends (re-found friends now that he's just another senator) in the media as long as he keeps trashing conservatives and members of his own party. It's a role he seems very comfortable playing. I just hope he likes solitude.

POPSThanks AP And ABC News For Spinning Liberal Bias My argument is bolstered further by the authors' ridiculous description of the weather as "out-of-control." They would have you believe that until eight years ago, when a certain Republican became President of the United States, the country had never experienced hurricanes, tornadoes, extremely high and low temperatures, and floods. The weather has been calm for the billions of years of the earth's existence and then suddenly, boom! The weather's out of control. AND we can make the weather not be out of control (i.e., if we elect a certain Democrat president .) Really, this article is an absolute embarrassment in every way. A DNC press release couldn't be more biased. There is positively nothing the least bit objective about this article. It's a string of hysterical unsubstantiated Democrat talking points.

POPSParty of McBush getting crushed in polls, key races More: In the polls, they are setting records (and not the good kind). The most recent Gallup Poll has 67 percent of voters disapproving of President Bush; those numbers are worse than Richard Nixon’s on the eve of his resignation. A CBS News poll taken at the end of April found only 33 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the GOP — the lowest since CBS started asking the question more than two decades ago. By comparison, 52 percent of the public has a favorable view of the Democratic Party. The Democratic National Committee polling, according to a memo it provided, has two-thirds of swing voters expecting McCain to pursue policies very similar to Bush’s. The voters’ top three concerns about McCain: his age, his support for the war and his similarities to Bush.

POPSRon Paul's Fair Weather Friends The involvement of MoveOn.org in the Paul campaign can be confirmed on their page at Meetup.com where they are shown as co-sponsoring a number of the regional Ron Paul meetups and they have also released a video ad in support of Paul. Paul's campaign has also received positive public response from a variety of prominent leftists, including Cindy Sheehan. One socialist in the Netherlands of all places, makes a compelling argument for why US socialists should support Ron Paul. Most Republicans see the objectives of MoveOn.org as inherently antithetical to the basic beliefs of the Republican Party. MoveOn.org is an openly anti-Republican, anti-Conservative and anti-Libertarian organization http://blogcritics.org/archives/2007/11/30/002906.php

POPSFormer GOP Senator Quits Republican Party No room for moderates in the Republican Party. Good job Karl Rove. More: Chafee himself laid out some of the ways he disagreed with his party, notably as one of only 23 senators and the only Republican to oppose the resolution supporting the invasion of Iraq. He went on to criticize the “permanent deficits” caused by Republican tax cuts. Chafee referred yesterday to the broad-based, bipartisan Iraq Study Group that Congress created, a process Chafee approved of. The study group recommended a gradual pullback of American forces, and insistence that the Iraqi government take more responsibility for security. But he said that since the study group made its recommendations, which he agreed with, “no one’s paid any attention to them.”

POPSToo Little, Too Late Shrub must have finally started worrying about what the history books will say about his Regime of Terror. He has now decided that torture and intimidation are not acceptable forms of integration after defending torture just last year. I don't think anyone buys that he has had a change of heart. He is doing this to try and help the despicable warmongers and torturers in the Republican Party something to rally behind and they head into the 2008 election cycle. All I can say is Too Little, Too Late to Shrub and his rubber stamps in congress!!!

POPSShrub is Full of It Again Shrub must think America is as stupid as Laura to keep believing all his lies. He now blames Democrats for the immigration bill failing when it was his own party that scuttled it. Then he has the nerve to blame the Democratic Congress for not passing spending bills. He is trying to label Democrats as Tax and spend but seems to forget it was his regime that destroyed the surplus we had and ran the country into debt higher than ever before. Shrub is a credit card conservative who spends and spends and doesn't pay his bills. Thank goodness the sorry piece of trash will be out of office in 2009. Then maybe we can get things back in order.

POPSHunter in Love With Ann Coulter Duncan Hunter proves he is more twisted than even the rest of the flat earthers running for president on the repugnant ticket. He actually supports Ann Coulter's vileness because she likes him. What a pathetic little man Duncan Hunter must be to protect the likes of Ann Coulter.

POPSShrub Shows His Homophobia Yet Again Shrub is still showing the world what a "compassionate" conservative he is. He is willing to veto the funding for D.C. just to further his hatred of Gays and Lesbians. Thank goodness this BIGOT will be out of office soon and American can become America again and his ilk will hopefully never be allowed near the White House much less in it again!!!
