POPSWhat a surprise.... Israel not bound by commitments it made at a U.S.-sponsored conference.... When Israel did ever committed to peace. !!!!!

POPS800 lb Gorillas Since I've been on this earth there has been conflict here. I applaud any efforts to bring peace but know that it is failed from the start if Israeli complicity in exacerbating the situation with their expansionism is acknowledged and brought to a halt.

POPSJews against Zionism I have clipped this not to promote a point of view but to offer those who care to know the many strands of perspectives on Israel an opportunity to go and look at some sites that explain that by no means all Jews support the state of Israel or its Zionist ideology.

POPSAbbas: Now is the moment of truth for Palestinian statehood I certainly agree that 'now is the time' if they have any genuine wish for a *state* and peace. Now whether Jerusalem would be their capital...that's another matter. Arafat threw away this opportunity. And even now, I doubt that it will ever happen; but if it were to happen...well, how serious are they? I don't believe, for a minute, that Hamas or Hezbollah would allow Abbas to make any real progress. Arabs in Israel/Palestine....what do you really want? Choose.

POPSPeace Talks To Begin As Illegal Settlements Continue to Grow I personally do not understand how peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians can be fruitful as long as illegal settlements continue to expand, and new settlements are developed. Until Israel decides to stop construction and expansion on these settlements, there will no reason for the Palestinians to really trust the intent of the Israeli government.

POPSWhat a disaster: Saudis calling the shots at the Annapolis peace conference As previously noted, this is a disaster for Israel...it is no wonder the inhabitants of Jewish communities in western Negev do not have much hope for a positive outcome, since more than 110 Kassam rockets and mortars have been leveled at them from gaza. Thousands Katyusha rockets are ready for launching...while the diplomats hold hands with the Saudis.
