POPSAnswers in Genesis Reveals the Way Hodge contines: "If we love God, we should obey Him (John 14:15). To love God first means to obey Him first--before looking at our neighbor. So, is the greater good trusting God when He says not to lie or trusting in our fallible, sinful minds about the uncertain future? Consider this carefully. In the situation of a Nazi beating on the door, we have assumed a lie would save a life, but really we don't know. So, one would be opting to lie and disobey God without the certainty of saving a life--keeping in mind that all are ultimately condemned to die physically. Besides, whether one lied or not may not have stopped the Nazi solders from searching the house anyway." I certainly wouldn't have thought of it in that way. You learn something new everyday.

POPSCapitalism again proves to the the source of the problem
This article is a must-read. The unfair capitalist healthcare system causes a glut on doctors in rich areas where they can earn more, and a sparsity in areas where they would earn less, like poor communities. Do people still think that America can get by without reforming Healthcare? Doctor's salaries need to be standardized, so a doctor working in a dirt-poor area of Arkansas is going make the same amount (by scale of skill) as a doctor in Malibu, California. 50 million uninsured Americans, and another 50 million underinsured Americans are too many people to be excluded from proper, complete healthcare. It's criminal, and amoral. C'mon, all you right-wingers! Don't you think that women and newborn children dying from perfectly preventable causes during childbirth is more important that wondering if federal money is going to perform abortions? Don't you think that people ending up losing limbs or eyesight due to lack of care for their diabetes is more important than getting all work

POPSIs it not important? When I get divorce, and married again, and would be not happy, regardless of titanic efforts, may be it would be worth to consider to give it a try...;) Oh, no, I'd better divorce again. Family is sacred. When you have no commitment, you are free to do any experiment according your standards and values.

POPSThe Pro-Life are Anti-Life A much more definite situation, there. Killing a human being that was successfully living on it's own, by someone protesting against the killing of human beings that might not successfully live on their own. Whether Abortion is moral or not, these wingnuts bombing abortion clinics and killing people who perform abortions are most definitely amoral, and completely wrong.

POPSA Funny Thing Happened on the Road to Serfdom “…in the spring of 1972, at Tulane University…students asked Alinsky to help plan a protest of a scheduled speech by George H. W. Bush, then U.S. representative to the United Nations - a speech likely to include a defense of the Nixon administration’s Vietnam War policies. The students told Alinsky they were thinking about picketing or disrupting Bush’s address. That’s the wrong approach, he rejoined, not very creative - and besides causing a disruption might get them thrown out of school. He told them, instead, to go to hear the speech dressed as members of the Ku Klux Klan, and whenever Bush said something in defense of the Vietnam War, they should cheer and wave placards reading, ‘The KKK supports Bush.’ And that is what they did, with very successful, attention-getting results.”

POPSDavid Ogden: An Amoral Deputy AG For An Amoral Administration
imposition of race-based affirmative action, to name a few. When pressed on these issues, Ogden routinely invoked the mantra, “As a lawyer, I needed to make that argument.” I say, “Baloney.” I don’t think any attorney should ever take a position in a brief or in oral argument that he does not really believe. And if he does, I think he commits a kind of fraud not only on the court but on the system. He undermines respect for the rule of law by pretending to be what he is not. Ogden has a history of arguing leftist, anti-family positions just about whenever he gets the chance. He should be bound by those positions. Because of his apparent total lack of inner moral conviction and his admitted eagerness to say or do whatever his clients tell him, no matter how outrageous, he cannot be trusted any more than tax cheat Tim Geithner can be trusted as Treasury Secretary. Ogden should not be confirmed as Deputy Attorney General. After that, U.S.Supreme Court Justice?????

POPSWho Are the Real Terrorists, Israel or Hamas? Just who fits the U.S. definition here? Who is trying to instigate "regime change" through "coercion" and "intimidation" through violence "against a civilian population"--including "property and infrastructure"--to overthrow a government to achieve "political change"? Even Israeli news has reported the objective is "assassinations" of Hamas political leaders, and they are bombing government buildings: Jerusalem Post, Israel - Dec 24, 2008 The ruling by Israel's highest court in the case of Salah Shehadeh comes as the government might renew its targeted attacks against top Hamas leaders in ... High Court Says No to Assassination Inquiry Arutz Sheva Israeli Minister Mofaz Wants to Cut Off Heads of Hamas Leaders Arabisto.com, FL - Dec 18, 2008 ... advocated Israel's cutting off of the heads of Hamas' leaders in the Gaza Strip. This would be a supposed "return" to the "targeted assassinations" ...

POPSPentagon wants to build ethical soldier bots My initial response was to laugh. Anything man builds is flawed in some way. Making such a grand prediction that scientist can even build a robot that won’t commit a crime is asking for too much faith from us. Noel Sharkey, a computer scientist at Sheffield University, best known for his involvement with the cult television show Robot Wars, is the leading critic of the US plans. He says: "It sends a cold shiver down my spine. I have worked in artificial intelligence for decades, and the idea of a robot making decisions about human termination is terrifying." Noel, that about sums it up.

POPS10 Myths Conservatives Believe About Progressives
1. Liberals Hate America - a difference in the interpretation of the Constitution 2. Liberals want to leave us defenseless in the face of evildoers around the world - bigger guns do not create more security 3. Liberals hate the free market - try bundling free market ideas with free market labor (open borders) and fully informed choices 4. Liberals hate our troops - we love them so much, we want them home 5. Liberals are a bunch of elitists who hate decent working-middle-class Americans - as opposed to CEO's who fly around in private jets and cut thousands of jobs at a time 6. Liberals are against family values - our families are just as healthy, valid, and sacred as yours 7. Liberals want to raise our taxes - who is going to pay for your dirty little war? 8. Liberals are Godless and therefore, amoral - secularism is not amoral 9. Liberals don't believe in personal responsibility 10. Liberals are wimps - is a humane government too much to ask for?

POPSWho Would Be A Good Pick For AG? How About That Woman. . . . .
who erected the "wall" between the CIA & FBI? uh, NO!!! pointing to her experiences at both Fannie Mae and the Sept. 11 commission." To that, my response is to jump up and down with both hands waving frantically as I shout, "Damned right we are! Damned right!" Short of appointing an actual member of al Qaeda, I cannot imagine a more offensive symbolic repudiation of the Global War on Terror — nor a more enthusiastic embrace of the chronic mismanagement, cronyism, and graft which led to this fall's credit crisis — than the appointment of Jamie Gorelick as attorney general. When Obama choose an amoral, souless Hard Left hitman like Rahm Emanuel to be his chief of staff, I was willing to grant that such is his right for such a position, and I didn't even grumble. Indeed, because Emanuel is likely to be effective in doing his principal's wishes, that simply means that Barack Obama himself can be held strictly accountable for his administration's successes and fai

POPSWhat is Globalization?
I LOVE CONSPIRACY THEORY! Sometimes it does not have to make sense if it just has some connections - George Bush joins the Trilateral Commission (a brainchild of fellow Bonesman, David Rockerfeller ) in 1991. On SEPTEMBER 11, 1991, he makes his infamous New World Order speech... which espouses both the Trilateral Commission Globalization Policy and the Skull & Bones Society's tradition of members all being from rich families and seek to control economics as well as Political Policy and keeping power in the hands of a select few that follow their plans or are architects of it, of a "New World Order;" a world where the few who maintain power make policy for years to come and ONLY they do. NOW, 10 years to the day later, George W. Bush reads a book to school children as the hijacked passenger jets take down the WTC, tear into the Pentagon, and crash in a field due to brave passengers fighting back. Has anyone made THAT connection other than me? Coincidence or conspiracy? I Love Paranoia!

POPSOne man's heated opinion... ...but is it just that? What do we really know about the Clinton machine? You don't want to know you say? Anythings better than what we have now? There is a choice. Think long and hard about this one. Our kids are at stake.

POPSThey aren't Conservatives, they are Authoritarians Which is the point to sociologist Altmeyer's book, who has been researching authoritarianism for thirty years, and can now publish a popular work (for free) because he's about to retire and can't be fired for his temerity.

POPSThe Vicious, Shameless, Amoral Right I suppose when your party is run by chest-thumping, bed-wetters who talk tough yet shriek in horror with bad knees, anal cysts and "other priorities" when their time comes to fight in the wars they advocate, attacking a 12-year old would come only naturally.

POPSThe Image of Helplessness
More from the piece: Most American women are becoming ever more comfortable with their capabilities as they break into new professional roles, learn how to do electrical wiring or automobile maintenance, tackle life insurance, IRAs and tax planning on behalf of the many configurations of family they are nurturing, or even put their lives on the line as warriors in Iraq. They are surprising themselves and the culture every day by not falling apart as they take on tasks that the prefeminist world was sure would lead them to collapse in a heap, needing smelling salts. Yet at the same time, the culture seems increasingly obsessed with showcasing images of glamorous young women who are falling apart -- sometimes seriously, even fatally. For a long time, hotel heiress Paris Hilton seemed reasonably cool-headed, if amoral, in the limelight. But cool-headed isn't trendy, so she managed to get herself arrested for drunk driving, broke her probation, went off to jail, was released
