POPSObamaCare: A Bad Deal for Young Adults Massachusetts benefits from another type of subsidy that props up its regime of mandates and price controls: large subsidies from the federal government. In contrast, the United States as a whole has no external party it can exploit to subsidize a nationwide Massachusetts-style health care overhaul"unless Congress finances that overhaul through additional deficit spending, which is really just another way of taxing the young to subsidize the old. by Aaron Yelowitz Aaron Yelowitz is an associate professor of economics at the University of Kentucky and an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute. POPSCambridge Police Profiling A Grim Reality for Harvard Faculty A**hol** A female colleague from the English department recalled a recent incident along the Charles River jogging path during her regular morning run. A confused passer-by rudely interrupted her progress and requested directions, as if my colleague were some sort of lowly campus guide or untenured adjunct. "Where does this street go to?" she demanded. Naturally, my colleague took the opportunity to correct her, noting that "at Harvard we do not end our sentences in prepositions." "Okay, Where does this street go to, asshole?" barked the interloper. Needless to say, my colleague's daily morning runs have since been replaced with tear-filled visits to the Faculty Asshole Self Esteem Counseling Center.

POPSThe Violent Left - In Quotes One of the more unintentionally humorous experiences of the campaign season to people in the know is the liberal meme, pushed incessantly by the Obama campaign's surrogates in the mainstream media, that McCain/Palin crowds are vicious, angry mobs, based on one person here or there, yelling something mildly offensive.

POPSObama, Me And Our Pastors Obama took the well-traveled road that all Machiavellian, ambitious, unscrupulous men take, which is why men of this ilk are very dangerous and should never be given the reigns of political power – for they lust after money, power, control, legacy and the applause from the fickle crowds above all else. Could it be that Obama sought out these radicals because he is a certified socialist with the most extremist liberal voting record in the Senate? Obama and I are the same age (46, born one month apart) After graduating from law school, I lived in Chicago from 1994-97. There I wrote several e-mails to Obama while he was as an adjunct professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago, repeatedly asking if he could help me obtain a teaching position there. The response from this man who is down with helping "the disenfranchised"? – silence of the lambs – nothing.

POPSUnhinged Deb Frisch advocates neutering boys to wipe out cervical cancer Frisch is unhinged; her increasingly irrational behavior indicates some severe mental problems. It makes one wonder how she managed to secure a position as an adjunct professor in a psychology department. She has since left that post because she started stalking and harrassing people. That has not stopped, in spite of a court injunction.
