The crash has not yet happened and is avoidable, but it also foreseeable. Of concern, the latest reports out of the White House suggest that Obama's team is not yet fully aware of the dangers. If it happens, it will be a problem entirely of Obama's own making and it could have a lasting impact on the way his administration unfolds. As Rich Lowry has observed, President Obama rarely misses a chance to blame a challenge he is confronting on his predecessor. I myself wish the us would just fly over with their stealth's and blow the place off the map. Everybody is going to just stand by saying it's only idle threats until they sell nuclear weapons to other terrorist countries or launch one them self. They are so much a terrorist country and immature they have no idea how easy it would be with todays technology to annihilate them. It's not like it was during the korean war now. Won't be anymore battlefront skirmishes, just stealth bombers wiping them out. It reminds me of ancient cavemen rattling their bones againt modern man.

The Peruvian rainforest is the biggest stretch of Amazon outside Brazil. As the Earth's largest tropical rainforest, the Amazon plays a critical role in safeguarding global climate. But this crucial global ecosystem has been threatened in recent decades by the industrial extraction of natural resources.
