POPSbrain surgery pictures posted on facebook I feel I must say this: It's not 'facebook' that has got someone in trouble! it is the action of someone posting on their site that caused the problem! We are all accountable for our actions!!

POPSChristianity Today on torture David Gushee for the evangelical Christian magazine Christianity Today on five theological grounds for the unequivocal and universal condemnation of torture by Christians, and why, from a Christian perspective, no exceptional circumstances can ever justify the use of torture. POPSDo corrupt workers infest Blackpool council? If you work for the deprived of Blackpool, this article comes of little surprise. The ease with which Blackpool council castigate and humiliate the elderly, the ill-educated and the vulnerable is better than legend. There is something drastically wrong within the system if vulnerable people are harangued in the way they are, while insiders hide their evil duplicity under a welter of needless accusations against innocent residents. £6000.000 tells the truth. The mass majority of council workers are conscientious and honest individuals. This situation can only arise because the average, decent employee cannot use their common sense. They are hen-pecked with stupid regulations and abeyance of political correctness. If the top hierarchy of the Finance Department were really held accountable and dismissed, the position replaced by a competent clerk on a reasonable salary, then the problem would be solved

POPSPelosi Tells The Nation Magazine Why She Won't Impeach---boggle, boggle
WTF is she talking about? "He's not a leader. He has no judgment, he has no knowledge, he has no plan. I've been saying that for a year." Well, who the hell hasn't been saying that - and better - for longer? Did we elect you to say stuff? He had a plan and has seen it through. Can you say the same? "Here's the thing. This is how I see it as Nancy Pelosi, not in my role as Speaker... why I ran for leadership and the rest. I was not setting out to win for two years. I did not want there to be any doubt in anybody's mind that this is going to be a long standing, get used to it, strong Democratic majority." So the point of winning in 06 was to win in 08 and the point of winning in 08 was, etc...., but how does that answer the question you were asked above about shirking your duty to govern in between elections? "So, in my head '06 was first, and then in '08 we strengthen and increase, In 2010, there's a little ebbing--assuming we have a Democratic President--and tha

POPSSome interestin moment at House Hearings on Abuse of Executive Branch Power Miller has introduced legislation calling for appointment of a special prosecutor to bring criminal contempt charges against several current and former Bush administration officials for refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas. The Justice Department has refused to bring charges against administration officials for not complying with the subpoenas once Bush has asserted an executive privilege claim. The House Judiciary Committee has filed a civil lawsuit against the White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten

POPSBaldwin makes a call for impeachment hearings
We have seen this administration fabricate the threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and allege, despite all evidence to the contrary, a relationship between Iraq and al-Qaida. These lies dragged our country into a preemptive and unjustified war that has taken the lives of more than 4,000 U.S. troops, injured 30,000 more, and will cost our nation more than a trillion dollars. We watched as this administration again undermined national security by manipulating and exaggerating evidence of Iran's nuclear weapons capabilities and openly threatened aggression against Iran, despite no evidence that Iran has the intention or capability of attacking the U.S. We have looked on in horror as the administration suspended habeas corpus by claiming the power to declare any person an "enemy combatant," ignoring the Geneva Convention protections that the U.S. helped create. We have seen torture and rendition of prisoners in violation of international law and stated American policy and

POPSHey Al, turn down the AC, Sheesh! Hypocrites, all of them. How does the guy who wins a Nobel Peace prize for predicting our demise due to global warming actually increase his energy consumption and thus his carbon footprint while telling the little people to reduce theirs? The better question is now do the environ"mentalists" not hold him accountable and why does the liberal media ignore it?

POPSSerial Meeting as violation the public is misled into believing the public's business was conducted in the public meeting. Of course, it was not. This serves to deny the public any opportunity to observe government operations so elected and appointed officials can be held accountable

POPSHoneybees Honeybees are paramount to our food supply production. They are accountable for ALL but 20% of our crop pollination and 33% of our food consumption come from insect-pollinated crops.

POPSBooks to Read and become frustrated and infuriated Why is it ,that we have nothing left even thou a great many good people in America see what is going on? No longer is America a bastion of freedom and democracy, but it has become a swamp, infested with spineless creatures in leadership positions. Who will hold these accountable?

POPSNever Say Never Like many Americans, I had lost hope that Bush would ever be brought to justice for his lies to the American people and his abuse of the Constitution. I don't wish to jinx things but is this the beginning of hope that Bush will now be held accountable for his crimes? We'll have to wait and see.

POPSHolding Liberals Accountable For Energy Woes
In essence, an artificial “monopoly” has been created among the member nations, whereby they can unilaterally determine what the rest of the world will pay for its energy needs. But for this monopoly to survive and thrive, it requires the defacto cooperation of all other parties involved. Perhaps the most infuriating aspect of this situation is that such “cooperation” is effectively coming from the Democrat controlled Congress of the United States. In a sinister sense, America is officially refusing to increase the world production of oil, thus strengthening the OPEC monopoly and its ability to deliberately inflate the price of crude oil. By stubbornly refusing any consideration of exploring, drilling, and thus expanding American oil production, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-CA) and Senate Majority Harry Reid (D.-NV) along with their Democrat political machine in Washington, are effectively forcing the entire American oil industry into the role of collaborating OPEC members.

POPSKucinich pursues impeachment This separation of powers was expressly intended to prevent a President from unilaterally summoning troops to war in the manner of a king. Are we willing to respect our institution, our Constitution and ourselves? Will this President, at last, be held accountable for lying to Congress to gain authorization for the use of force against Iraq? Will we allow future Presidents to take office knowing they can commit the same acts with impunity? Tomorrow I will bring forth a single article of impeachment which reviews the factual misrepresentations the President made to Congress to induce a favorable vote for the authorization for war. The only question that remains is - - will we do anything about it?"

POPSTo lose weight, write down what you eat I kept a food diary once for a strength training class I was taking -- it's amazing how much more aware it makes you of what you eat. "Hmm... do I really want that donut enough to be willing to write it down? Um... no, not really."

POPSBush Cannot Be Held For War Crimes He made sure to pardon himself some time ago, watch the 2nd video in case you missed that! Yes, that's right, HE PARDONED HIMSELF!!! He knew he was guilty, or why would he have made sure that he could not be held accountable!

POPSDefending Wes Clark Cont... "Is what Wesley Clark said true? Let's check some other facts: John McCain made claims about progress in security by walking through the streets of Baghdad. But as I recall, he was protected by at least a platoon of American soldiers and helicopters lying overhead. In matters of national security, as General Clark pointed out, "it's a matter of understanding risk," and it's "gauging your opponents;" and it's also a "matter of being held accountable."

POPSAmericans Need Not Apply Corporations that were formerly thought of as great American companies have betrayed their home and their people and now wave the banner of globalist corporations instead of the American flag. They have no loyalty to the American worker who has grown old in a lifetime of service to their corporations. And they have no sense of obligation to the generations who now seek a future with them. Governmental departments like the FDA are to blame for lowering safety standards and not having the courage to hold politicians and corporations accountable when safety and standards are compromised. They are too weak to demand proper funding so safety measures can be assured. The link below will lead you to a site that lists American products proudly made by American workers. While you are there, visit the site in total for it is a treasure trove of information. http://www.devvy.com/made_inthe_usa.html

POPSDemocrats Have Legalized Bush's Crimes Beyond the breathtaking scope of this new authority, the Bush administration also snuck in a clause that granted forward-looking immunity from lawsuits to communications service providers that assisted the spying. That removed one of the few safeguards against Bush's warrantless wiretaps: the concern among service providers that they might be sued by customers for handing over constitutionally protected information without a warrant. In short, the "Protect America Act" made warrantless surveillance legally cost free for a collaborating service provider, tilting the scales even further in favor of the government's spying powers.
