POPSLet's Play Tazer The Drunk at the Ball Park That cop goes for his tazer at 0:37. 1:05 from approaching him to tazing him. That's disgusting. If three cops can't take even two minutes to figure out how to handle a relatively calm drunk without the use of a tazer, they shouldn't be cops. I hope he sues each of their asses and they loose their badges to boot.

POPSMemo Exposes Global Warming Dispute ~ EPA Science Called 'Stretch'
An administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the internal review process, said the comments challenging the science came from a single office, the Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy. "The disclosure of this OMB memo suggests that a political decision was made to put special interests ahead of middle-class families and small businesses struggling in this recession," said House Minority Leader John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican. "It is unacceptable that this critical information was withheld and the regulatory process was abused in this fashion." The office, an independent arm of the administration whose current chief was named by President George W. Bush, is charged with looking out for small-business interests as the federal government writes rules and regulations. The memo was first reported by Dow Jones Newswire, and the intra-administration dispute could give opponents ammunition for a legal challenge to EPA's finding.

POPSThe Role Fraud Played in the Mortgage Crisis... . . . . stunning interview with an industry insider including credit references from their country of origin and a valid Visa. To circumvent this requirement, the applications were marked that the borrower was a US citizen then, regardless if the credit profile did not support such a claim, an underwriter was not allowed to question. This along with use of stolen SS# or use of their American born child’s SS# and lax credit requirements that allowed alternative credit, helped cover the ruse. All required documentation was fraudulent and with the large use of a/k/a’s, information was hard to track. Q) What did management do when it was discovered that a stolen Social Security number was being used by a borrower? A) It was not uncommon to find a SS# being used by up to 23 other people or a borrower with 27 a/k/a’s. Management would often clear a loan that you tagged as fraudulent so it wouldn’t be shelved.

POPSWhen healthy, you don't need the I "For example, Dr. Pennebaker has found that men tend to use more articles (a, the) and women tend to use more pronouns (he, she, they). The difference, he says, may suggest that men are more prone to concrete thinking and women are more likely to see things from other perspectives. "
