POPSAmerican media (or why I get my news from BBC) In 1990, I dumped my TV because my 5 yr. old son could not peel himself away from it long enough to play. The boy grew up, graduated from college, and moved out. Went to a friend's house to see if cable TV was a worthy media to have in my home and found the modern cesspool that passes for "news". The most offensive and shocking was a company that extolled itself for being "fair and balanced". I think I'll keep my money and time for myself, I don't think it would be a "fair and balanced" exchange.

Yes, the "director" is a homosexual and I don't believe for an instant that this is not a common practice. Daughter lives next to a family whose son has adopted a 4 yr old little girl. It's scary. But WHOEVER violates a child deserves to be outed (no matter their sex, race or orientation) and severely prosecuted. We allow liars, frauds, thieves...all manner of crooks to represent us in Congress; but in my opinion the wounding and violation of children is as low as it gets. Mandoff gets 100+ yrs. for his crimes; what do pedophiles get? Released back into the community and their names/pictures printed on the internet. :~(

POPSGeriatricide? 14 Yr Old Suspect in Murder of 82 Yr Old Woman Geriatricide--killing the aged? Apparently the details of the murder are being withheld, too disturbing to release. A person claiming to be a relative of the victim posts this in the online version of article (see source): As for the comments by the neighbors claiming that this 14 year old boy was incapable of commiting the crime, I find that completely ridculous. No matter how young and small this boy was, sadly, I am sure it wouldn't be dificult for him to overcome a feeble 82 year old woman. Neighbors also speak about how sweet the boy was, but how sweet could a boy who, at the age of 14, already has sexual assault and sexual abuse charges.

However; I have seen and heard a lot of things lately that used to be taboo only to see them becoming more and more mainstream. No one can convince me that this 12 yr old has any clue as to what all this means. This is a case where the parents should be held for felonious assault on their own son. Ahem daughter.

POPSYAY!!! Grassroots "Philanthropic Adoption" Program for Holiday Gifts was a Huge Success
I am so impressed by my community & I think it’s a "first" for me-feelings of happiness regarding my area as a collective group is not in recent memory. The reason I wanted to put this clip online was to give the orgs receiving presents a plug. Additionally, it's amazing to me that only 14 days ago they were looking for people to adopt the last 31 of the approx. 200 names received. As of yesterday, the gifts were due and 292 kids were sponsored! They're shopping today for EVEN MORE kids after they were unexpectedly handed a lot of $$$$ yesterday during the present drop off. The project's 2 coordinators consistently updated this site from the start date w/ kids' wish lists & beyond its end, attributing their web-usage to the amazing results. This program has certainly made this holiday much more fun than it has been in the past. I just wanted to share some good news to brighten the holiday-outlook for a few ot
