POPSPatience, Young Grasshopper... "As quickly as you can...snatch the pebble from my hand." "When you can take the pebble from my hand, it will be time for you to leave." I recently heard this grasshopper phrase used yet again and sometimes it takes me forever to bother googling stuff like this, but I finally got my arse together and looked it up. I am SURE, that knowing this most important bit of information, will now make me sleep better at night and I'll surely live happily ever after. (Just kidding) .:p http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/funny-pictures-cat-teaches-dog-patience.jpg

POPSHow Out of Touch Is This White House? Two possible explanations: (1) Gibbsy was trying to say something else and it came out very wrong; (2) Gibbsy was in a deep, deep coma for much of the past decade. Either way, maybe "White House press secretary" isn't the optimal line of work for him. I'm stammering at the moment myself from sheer frustration at deciding where to begin to answer him, but thankfully has pulled the necessary links together to do the job.

POPSCanon Powershot SX10 IS REVIEWS, 11% Sale I especially liked the ability to zoom in and out while taking video. I would recommend the camera, great value for the price, but it does have a couple deficiencies and an ease-of-use problem that need correction. First, the lens cap will not stay on. We finally gave up and did without it, which probably limits the camera's life. Second, the battery life is limited. During those days when I used the camera alot, I ran through a set of four alkaline AA batteries in one day. Be sure to have lots of extra batteries on hand! (Especially of you review your pictures at the end of the day, this seems to eat up lots of energy, so we stopped doing that.)

POPSSTATUE OF LIBERTY PICTURES: Rare Views, Inside and Out The torch has been off-limits to visitors since the "Black Tom" explosion of July 30, 1916. Debris from the attack on U.S. ammunition supplies on nearby—and long since subsumed by landfill—Black Tom Island, New Jersey, pierced the statue. Another attack—the terrorist assault on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001—prompted the full closure of Liberty Island, which was reopened a hundred days later. The Statue of Liberty would reopen in 2004, and the reopening of the crown will complete the process on the Fourth of July, 2009.
