POPSProfitable Until Deemed Illegal Surfing Internet you can stumble on this site, if didn't yet by some luck; their ads popping up everywhere, they do not saving on advertisement. How many times con artists will teach us to be vigilant and taste waters before getting in? They feel themselves free in virtual space with scores at their disposal. But good folks will always defeat evil, we can use opportunity to quickly share our experience and warn each other. Or even get organized for impending lawsuit. Don't fall victims of fraudsters, don't let evil reign. They skillfully take advantage of weaknesses of human nature, even worst, incite and inflame them for the profit at any price. Isn't it similar to what was done to all us recently?

POPSHow to avoid foreclosure - take care not to lose your home Patchett said the best way for people to avoid foreclosure is to recognize that they're in trouble. "One of the biggest problems is the lack of communication," she said. "People have to recognize the problem and tell someone about it. If they don't have the skills to deal with the bank, we can help.

POPSBack to 'Real' journalism? My local 'rag'--The Bozeman Daily Chronicle--just upped their price to 75 cents. This is laughable because they offer only one section of 8 pages of re-regurgitated AP crap, and sometimes throw a little poorly written local news in between the ads and typos. Lately, in obvious distress, they've trimmed syndicated columns and comics, raised the price of the Sunday edition, and added an adhesive sticker ad to the front page. Maybe if they had done something more radical like actually reporting on news, they wouldn't be struggling. They have no competition in this town! Anyone want to start a news paper?

POPSCigarette Tax Burnout In New York City and State, tobacco taxes have been raised so many times that the retail cost can exceed $9 a pack -- about double the national average. Few budget-savvy smokers in the Big Apple pay that tax. Patrick Fleenor, an expert on tobacco taxes at the Tax Foundation, estimates that there is "now a 75% gap between cigarette sales in the city and cigarette consumption." In other words, three out of four cigarettes are bought elsewhere or are contraband. In New Jersey, about 40% of the Marlboros and Virginia Slims that are lit up escape the $2.57-a-pack tax. In Washington State, evasion was so rampant that the legislature decided in 2005 to lower the 75% tax on cigars and other tobacco products as a way to raise revenue and help state retailers.

POPS$1.50 DVD's Big Deal. This movie has already made the rounds from theatre to dvd and pay per view. I watched this movie for $2.00 myself. If i am going to buy bootleg from China, I know I am getting a movie before it even hits the theatre. Besides, with bit-torrent and all the trading that goes on, you can just download any movie or TV show you want anyways. My daughter buys bootleg in the ghetto here, still warm straight from the movie theatre. I of course called the FBI right away. Bottom Line: Crappy Movies in a Crappy Box. You still get what you pay for.
