POPSJeb Bush Positions for President: Bush/Palin 2012? 'Jeb' (John Ellis) Bush is a member of the neocon think tank Project for New American Century , and he is more popular and well spoken than his (former cheerleader) Yale 'Skull & Bones' brother whose was not known for his academic skills . Williams Kristol (PNAC founder, son of Irving Kristol, father of neoconservatism) publicly conceded during the primaries that the only negative for Jeb Bush (republican Gov of Florida, with a large electoral base) was that America was tired of Bush's in office now. Would Cheney (PNAC member) be his VP, again, too? Or would it be Gov. Sarah Palin whom Kristol and the neocon gang are now grooming? (Yes, this will be the ticket, inauguration 2013--how unlucky). Obama received Kristol's blessing too.

POPS McCain Distances Himself from Governor Palin One also notices that he has spent considerable time recently defending president-elect Barack Obama on a wide range of issues, especially on the Blagojevich corruption scandal. The above all fits perfectly into the notion that McCain is trying to salvage his reputation as a centrist Republican, willing to reach across the aisle. Endorsing Palin would hamper this attempt somewhat due to her reputation as a hardliner, a true card carrying member of the Republican Party’s Christian conservative base. As such, his reaction to Stephanopoulous should be interpreted as nothing more, or less, than an attempt of a man who lost the presidential election to restore his image and to continue being relevant in Washington, D.C.

POPSProgress Toward Addressing Climate Change Fails Again
Are we really committed to combating climate change? We talk a great game. We seem to recognize that something must be done. But when it comes right down to it, there is very little action. The biggest polluters are of course industrialized nations, such as China, India, America, and Japan, who raise the loudest objections to pay more into the fund and consistently fail to reach agreements to make deeper emissions cuts. Understandably, developing nations are disappointed at their position and stubbornness. Everyone is paving a road of good intentions, but good intentions never get anything done. Cutting greenhouse gas emissions was never expected to be cheap or easy. It requires drastic changes in lifestyles for all of us, rich and poor alike. The time has come to actually commit to a plan. Industrialized nations, being the biggest polluters should bear the largest financial burden to ease the rest of world of their disproportionate suffering.

POPSOdd Comet Possibly from Another Star System The oddball could shed light on the formation and evolution of comets. These blobs of dust and frozen gases may be the oldest, most primitive bodies in the solar system. In fact, they hold the earliest record of material from the nebula that formed the sun and planets.

POPSFrom the “Panic” of 2008 to the “Collapse” of 2009 Celente’s accuracy is widely heralded since he correctly predicted the 1997 Asian Currency Crisis, the subprime mortgage collapse and the massive devaluation of the U.S. dollar. “There will be a revolution in this country,” he said. “It’s not going to come yet, but it’s going to come down the line and we’re going to see a third party and this was the catalyst for it: the takeover of Washington, D. C., in broad daylight by Wall Street in this bloodless coup. And it will happen as conditions continue to worsen.”
