POPSAnti-Capitalist Protesters Captivated by Copenhagen's Free Sex Offers From Uber-Capitalist Prostitutes John Galt notes the irony. I get a chuckle out of the great dichotomy currently taking place in Copenhagen. Literally thousands of the worlds left wing anti-Capitalists have descended or maybe it is ascended to Copenhagen in an attempt to implement world wide centralized control of the world's nation state economies, world trade and peoples' lives. At the same time, the professional ladies of the evening are offering their services free of charge due to the exceedingly extra high demand for their services that will take place from the huge influx of these anti-Capitalists. The Ladies will more than make up the forgiven fees for their services with the increased resulting demand and tips resulting derived therefrom.. Ladies of the evening applying true Capitalist ideology to make more money from the anti-Capitalists. DougRoss blog http://bit.ly/8R86u5

POPSPrisons Taking Work From Private Sector: Current Employees Laid Off
at an Otisville, N.Y. prison are continuing their jobs: producing solar panels The insanity continues: “green jobs” are turning into “orange jumpsuit” jobs. Unfortunately, most Americans remain unaware of the Federal Prison Industries’ (FPI) exploits. FPI employs cheap prison labor " compensating inmates at wages of between 23 cents and $1.15 an hour " to assemble products purchased by federal agencies under a mandatory source arrangement. Mandatory source status means if a federal agency needs to purchase a product offered by FPI, the agency must buy it from FPI, even if the price is higher, the quality lower or the delivery longer than that of commercial products FPI has used its competitive advantage for years to expand its business into such industries as furniture, vehicular components and textiles. Just recently we learned Traverse Bay Manufacturing Inc. a family-owned textile products business in northern Michigan, also is losing business to federal prisoners

POPSAn Inconvenient Truth: "cherry-picked" Data "One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them." -- Thomas Sowell Protestations to the contrary notwithstanding, exchanges about "the trick of adding in the real temps to each series…to hid the decline (in temperature)," is way egregious. Professor Phil Jones, head of the Climate Research Unit and professor Michael E. Mann at Penn State are now tap dancing. Mann, in an effort to defend the indefensible, told the New York Times, "scientists often use the word ‘trick’ to refer to a good way to solve a problem ‘and not something secret.’ Yeah…right! This scandal is scientific fraud of epic proportions. Conspiracy Collusion Illegal destruction of embarrassing data Organized resistance to disclosure Manipulation of data Private acknowledgment of flaws Sick.

POPSProtecting Afghan Opium Fields, Bribing Taliban, Obama Allies Want New Tax to pay for it all. While reading this keep in mind that the existing taxes are illegal as they stand now. nevermind the proposed ones. "At the height of the Bush administration’s 2007 “surge” in Iraq, there were 26,000 US troops in Afghanistan and 160,000 in Iraq, a total of 186,000. According to DoD figures cited by The Washington Post last month, there are now around 189,000 and rising deployed in total. There are now 68,000 troops in Afghanistan, over double the amount deployed there when Bush left office. What precisely would this extra tax be used to pay for? Namely, bribing the Taliban, paying off CIA drug lords, and protecting heroin-producing opium fields."
