I clipped this article, to highlight, that whether or not a substance is "benign" or not, or natural, is not the issue. It's the disruption of BALANCE and concentration of various chemicals, that is the issue. Table salt is pretty non-toxic, but concentrations in the body beyond the mere 0.9 percent can kill you, which is why you'd die of dehydration if you drank sea water. We can all agree, that ordinary drinking water is probably the most benign substance we know, yet if you drink too much of it, it can kill you, too. Climate change is about the disruption of the balance of nature, not about the *toxicity* of the chemicals involved, in itself, so THIS particular argument used by skeptics is not valid.
