POPSSpace invaders "For decades now, America has been lost in space. Ever since the Apollo mission landed men on the moon in the 1960s, the nation has asked: OK, what's next?"

POPSAll planets experience climate change All planets experience climate change. Nasa scientists recorded Mars warming by 0.5C since the 1970s, which is similar to the warming experienced on Earth over the same period. In the Red Planet's case, strong winds are thought to have stirred up giant dust storms, trapping heat and raising Mars' temperature.

POPSScientists warn solar activity could hit London 2012 Olympic Games Presumably it would be wise to shut down the Internet for a couple of weeks at least? There could be no flying, either. That would take a lot of planning. There is, as yet, no evidence that any such planning is taking place. For terrorists, it would be a great time to cause mayhem, too. POPSObama to Propose $3.8 Trillion Budget
the National Science Foundation and the Census Bureau, which this year is conducting its decennial count of people living in the United States. According to the White House, the freeze would be $250 billion over a decade if those programs were to increase at the rate of inflation. POPSNASA Still Likes Killing Those Cute Little Animals I was alerted by PeTA in a newsletter, that these sorts of things were still going on at NASA. I was curious so I went to the NASA website and simply typed in "testing on monkeys" and page after page rolled in front of my eyes. It's hard for me to grasp the full extent of all of these tests, surely it's going to take a lot of time to investigate all of these look-ups. I guess my point is, I thought we had gone beyond all of this crap. A terrible waste of life and taxpayers money. I did my taxes yesterday and this is the first time I have ever had to pay such a large amount. Mind you, I have recently retired, and I have much less than before. I don't want my tax money to go to such ridiculous endeavors! Do You?
