El nivel de las presas del sistema Cutzamala está a 39 por ciento de su capacidad, 21 puntos menos que el promedio histórico, y no se garantiza que aun con lluvias regulares se llegue a la cantidad de agua necesaria para mantener el próximo año 20 por ciento del abasto de la zona metropolitana de la ciudad de México.
En conferencia de prensa conjunta el director de la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua), José Luis Luege Tamargo; el director del Sistema de Aguas del Gobierno del Distrito Federal (GDF), Ramón Aguirre Díaz; y el subsecretario de Agua y Obras Públicas del gobierno del estado de México, Óscar Hernández, informaron sobre acuerdos que adoptaron ayer en el contexto de la 44 reunión del Fideicomiso 1928.
Informaron que se aprobaron recursos para obras como la rehabilitación y ampliación del sistema Cutzamala, así como la rehabilitación del interceptor oriente, entre otras. Para este año el fideicomiso cuenta con 9 mil 103 millones de pesos.
