Mitch Horowitz is the editor-in-chief of Tarcher/Penguin Books in New York, specializing in spiritual and occult books. He has published some of the leading titles in esoterica today, including “The Secret Teachings of All Ages: Readers’ Edition” by Manly P. Hall.
In our conversation, we discuss Mitch’s journey into the occult, spiritual, mystical, and metaphysical. He talks about his research into the history of America and its “re-making” of the occult. We get into discussing many of the notable occult figures throughout recent history (Cagliostro, Blavatsky, Olcott, Case, Hall, and others), the differences between European occultism and American occultism, and the Authentic Tradition.
Mitch’s knowledge and wisdom shines in this conversation, to say nothing of the amazing books he has helped to deliver to the world.
